I’m dumb as shit and be honest, there are times I knew who won before I started a season and still didn’t get any vibes from the edit. Maybe if I went back and watched again I’d see it but was honestly surprised when I first started hearing complaints about “winner edits” as I didn’t even think that would be something that existed. Edit: I did kind of get that feeling with season 46 but mostly because I really wanted that person to win the whole time so I was fine with all the screen time and ‘hero’ moments they had
Holy hell what an episode and even wilder tribal. Straight up BRUTAL lolol. That advantage was played so perfect!
He's such a unique human, really cool guy. In BIG danger though, the second he loses something they're coming after him
I'm starting to like Rachel haha. Her getting the advantage out of the tarp was funny. Interested to see her and Sol teaming up.
I actually thought he might drop his bucket and let Andy win to avoid winning to try and avoid becoming an even bigger threat than he already is. Although I totally get why you don’t take that risk because it’s not like everyone would just forget that he won two in a row so maybe then they’d strike but yeesh, yeah he’s in boiling water the rest of the game from now on.
I can totally see Sam being brought to the finale and being the person who ends up with no votes. He’s not super arrogant and people do seem to like him but idk he gives the vibe in some of his talking heads like he’s running things / kind of talks down about people and is just kinda “blah” which is what that third wheel of the finale tends to be.
Andy not finding any money and then not being chosen to eat the peanut butter and chocolate was so damn funny lol
I’m all in on Andy lol. Honestly nothing more relatable than having a panic attack day 2 of survivor. And ever since then he’s slowly worked himself into a better position. And he gives such good vote out confessionals!
I think it was Tysons podcast I was listening to last night where his guest or someone mentioned the way Andy is getting edited is as if it's HIS show and I do have to wonder if he gets taken to the end and he's been low key doing so much that once he reveals it to the jury their mind is just blown and crown him the winner lol.
I haven’t given it more than 30 seconds of thought and not even sure I like this idea but it could be interesting to see a season with pairs - but rival pairs - like the Challenge did with two (or three) of their seasons. Put Gabler and Ellie together for example. Would be curious to see how they work together and navigate the game. Or at the very least maybe start the game as pairs for a few episodes then go back to everyone for themselves and then the merge. And maybe a pair gets nominated and from their only one of them goes home to add the dynamic of “throwing a challenge” to get rid of your rival or something. Maybe in the current 26 day Survivor world this wouldn’t work because that’s not a lot of time to allow things to happen. Again, I have only thought about this for about as long as it took to write this post and not even sure I will like this idea in five minutes lol
I like it! I do think we'd need a longer session for sure tho. I heard someone mention this concept: cast of however many people, game goes how it normally goes but when people are bored off, they continue to live in the beach. Allow them to compete in reward challenges, but not immunity. Allow them to create chaos and do whatever. Then at merge allow one person to play to come back into the game. Then allow one more person to come in around .......jury? Regardless, allow at least 2 play ins but spread a decent amount apart. The interesting thing would be how the voted off players decide to align themselves with whoever and create alliances for the remaining players.
Yeah yeah. I REALLY like that theme, I think it could add some needed chaos , and while it would be wholly unnecessary as you'd end up with so many people that are just trying to scheme and start shit since they're no longer in the running.....it would be FUN to watch haha.
I really liked the wrinkle of who does or doesn’t get to vote from episode 9. Has a lot of potential for future use.
I was really annoyed at first when they said 4 people would lose their vote but felt better about it when they said 3 of them would get it back. But overall still not sure, I would have liked it more if it was some kind of game they did in private so that it wasn’t public knowledge who lost a vote. I like it more when they have the opportunity to lie about who lost it.
