I just started watching this show again last season, but it will never not be mind blowing to me how many people get voted out of this game with an idol in their pocket.

I have to think this season has the most number of people voted out with an idol in their pocket, right? I don't think anyone has actually played an idol yet

Survivor 46 holds the record for most people voted out while in possession of a Hidden Immunity Idol, with 4. This breaks the record previously set by Island of the Idols.

I kinda wish 50 was all new era because if they're only doing what, 20 people AND they're including old era, I'd assume they're splitting half vs half and that only leaves 10 people from 41-47 they can allocate. However getting 20 people from those seasons would be much easier and allow a more interesting cast I feel.

 

My guess is it will be all new era, definitely

 

Should have 18 new era and "captains" from a previous season and they choose their tribe or a challenge to end up on their tribe

 

Jeff said they are *not* limiting it to new era only in casting 50. At least not right now, he’s got another year before it films so they could always change their mind.

 

Probst has already said they're open to ALL former seasons.

I actually like the idea of having captains lol. Might add to idols being used properly!

 

Worst cast of the new era, and that’s a monumental feat.

Just caught up on the last two episodes and my god, the Liz freak out and then Maria completely destroying her game with the reward selections. Absolutely hysterical.

I’d want to bring Maria to the final 3 because she ain’t likely to get many votes after that debacle. Bring Charlie or Ben as well since neither of them have made many, if any, moves.

Bringing Q is also an option. Wild how many players don’t appear to have a good chance of winning imo outside of Kenzie unless they put together a great final speech to turn votes.

This has been such a chaotic season. I love it. I was hoping for the Q Liz Venus final 3 so it could go full Gabon.

 

How does this keep happening??

 

Q just really became the dumbest survivor player of all time. I’m baffled.
