Can we talk about Brandon wanting to quit over his reflux, telling his tribe he was a liability….. but then telling them he was playing his Shot in the Dark.
And then Emily trying to convince the two people ready to quit that they should team up and take out one of the only two strong people on the tribe.
Also I very much related to Emily staring dumbfounded when confronted with 3 people who seemed to genuinely believe the pyramids were built by aliens.
Emily sucks. Brandon sucks. The girl that quit sucks. That episode sucked. Hope the rest of the season doesn't suck.
Started the episode a couple minutes ago and I already strongly dislike everyone they’ve shown so far. it’s like casting’s only requirements were clowns that obnoxiously overreact for the camera.
I feel like they leaned too far into casting quirky this season and it's already going south. There's a few people that seem like they could be likable, but they just need to last now.
Hahaha I thought I was just being grumpy and that it would get better but it never did! I didn’t read the comments before mine so I’m glad to see I wasn’t just in my head about it. What an INSANE episode. I think I loved it but I’m not sure?
The Tai Chi guy is super fucking annoying already btw. Everything he does requires some kind of ninja pose, apparently.
After 15 minutes I asked my wife if I was in high school watching real world. Definitely not enjoying that aspect of it. Who quits next?!
I mean Brandon is the overwhelming favorite to bail. You never know when that acid reflux is going to strike again!
Casting went very young and very quirky this season and I’m honestly not digging it. Cringe doesn’t allure me at all. Lulu has got to be the worst day one tribe they’ve had yet. Despite really not clicking with her personally type in the slightest, I was actually rooting for Emily to stay because of how dreadful Brandon and Hannah were as players. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be for Jeff when a player quits at tribal. We know he doesn’t care for quitters in general (and neither do I). But for that to happen at the FIRST tribal of the season? It really took what little wind this premiere had right out of the sails.
Shame to see Brandon's complete uselessness on the puzzles has now worn off on the rest of Lulu. They're an absolute mess! (but at least from the previews for next week, they'll be split up finally)
I miss Brandon so much I want to see him attempt every challenge. That "catch the ball" segment? Come on.
I think he'd be able to get the ball to catch on that slide or whatever, but no way he gets through in time to catch it on the other end, haha.
