I think people saying they like or dislike the character just cements why she is so good for the show.
In the first half of the season, I found her to be a little annoying. As the season has progressed, I've actually started becoming a fan. She's still quirky as hell, but in an entertaining way (as opposed to annoying). More importantly, she's actually a really good player, has made great connections with people, and quite possibly even plays up her aloofness to underplay her skill sets.
Yeah I’m pretty happy with that outcome. Yam teaching Carson how to make fire was making me emotional.
guhhhh i love that yam yam won. it was him or carolyn for me. he stole the jury away with his charisma
He slayed the social game and was just as good a strategic player. Carolyn was just as good of a winner, but double-yam just had the edge with the jury slightly I think
Carolyn and Yam Yam were two of the most memorable contestants in awhile. Not mad at all about this result (but Carolyn deserved at least one vote!)
Yeah it kinda sucks for her legacy that she didn’t get a vote. I’m surprised Heidi got a few. I felt like we saw her lose any votes by her constant interrupting. EDIT: my personal votes would have gone m Carolyn Yam Yam Heidi
Heidi got only 1. I think if you polled the jury, most would say that Carolyn was their second pick. The only reason she didn't get votes is because of YamYam, hard to explain what I'm saying
I feel like the final immunity challenge has been that “don’t drop the ball” one a lot the last few seasons (40, 43, 44 if I recall) and I wonder if there has been any explanation why.
I’ve never watched a season live while it aired. Even the last couple I’ve been able to wait until like 7-8 episodes aired and then would limit myself to watch 2 back to back and even that sucked with waiting. Not sure what I’ll do with this season.
I just watched S44 last weekend lol. I’ve binged the last few well after the air. Still excited to watch them. Just lost that must watch status for me.
Brandon being set up as the ultimate superfan and then just getting his shit rocked for the entire 90 minutes was amazing. Day 2 quit is nuts and a failure of casting. I'm always up for a good villain, but Emily can fuck off.
