I was thinking about this. At first I was VERY confused about why they even had screen time on it on the boat when everyone said it was fine. And then when later on, when the guy brought it up, I think THAT is why the brought screen time on it. I thought it was interesting to have that conversation after he thought about it a little bit, showed a bit more about it. Actually the whole episode I actually really appreciated giving the little backstories on everyone. Yeah it kinda pulls at your heartstrings and might come off as cheesy, but I'll tell you what.... after one episode I can tell WAY MORE people apart than any other season. Thinking back to first episodes (or two) of most seasons, I still don't really know so many people. I feel like I already know pretty specifically who all these people are
Not one bit, but the show prides itself on embracing change and being inclusive. So that's cool. Personally, It got me realizing I say "you guys" A LOT more than I should. Especially in team meeting with mostly females. Yikes haha. Now I kinda just cringe at the thought and times I've done it.
Not sure how i'm going to like the shortened season and how it effects the speed of the game. I'll probably get used to it, but I really enjoy all the analyzing, people being super tactical, and how the whole politics part of the game develops over time. So, now with a shorter season and more twists, I can totally see worse decisions being made and poor gameplay.
Same. i work in a department with all females and have for four years and in person I’d use “guys” from time to time as they would since they can’t say girls or ladies or women or whatever since I’m there lol but in writing I find I’m able to catch myself and delete it before sending an email or a message. I usually default to “team” if I have to include anything.
Moving to a southern state has made it easier because I just say y’all now instead and it’s completely normal.
will xander have to repeat the quote later to activate the idols? also, what happens if xander is voted out??
a) I think he does! but at least now he can wait for one other person to speak first, ya know? if no one else says one of the phrases, no reason for him to say it. but the idol said all 3 had to be said at the same challenge. b) i'll bet it either gets willed to someone, re-hidden, or it';s just dead.
I hope he gets to, boys he’s in a horrible spot now, not being able to vote means it would be very hard for anyone to be able to align with, you’d be a lepper
yeah i bet it'll be willed. otherwise whoever gets the advantage on the other tribes would be without a vote for... forever? and if it is willed, i wonder if the receiver can turn it down.
shan had me rolling when she said "no nba jd". she's definitely my favorite so far. and we didn't see brad will the three way idol advantage! maybe it'll happen in the beginning of next week, but i kinda think it'll be re-hidden.
LOL JD Blue tribe should have made Heather do the challenge. The two guys could have thrown it by doing that.
pretty wild episode. Was dying at the fact that blue couldn't even throw the challenge by trying haha. And poor JD, I mean.... he really was trying his best but he got fucked, I don't know what he really could have done other than rolling the dice. Even using the extra vote wouldn't have been enough to save him.
Have they been doing tribal every 2 days I keep forgetting to check the day count , is that how they’re cutting it down to 26 days
