I'm so pumped!

 

I was wondering the same thing, but watching the video clarifies it a bit. It’s not us having an impact on the game itself, but it seems like there’s going to be a “game within the game” with like, clues appearing on screen or on the set for viewers to watch out for, potentially with prizes for viewers who figure it out. Mentions it’s specifically meant for younger viewers.

 

lol i posted that and then started the video so I felt silly and deleted my comment. It sounds pretty cool though. I like that they're branching out with new ideas to keep it fresh.

 

Oh no! I thought it started this upcoming wednesday and now I'm bummed thinking about another 2 weeks of waiting lol

 

The Australian season has had twists on twists currently and getting a bit ridiculous as they have to stretch it out to 24eps
When the game play had been fine and not stale

hopefully US doesn’t use some of its silly twists

 

I don't know, but if I were to guess, production time once they got the okay for Fiji was probably limited. Hence the shorter length of the competition. I guess they felt it was necessary to spice it up to make up for it. Like Jeff says, everyone hates twists when they are added, but what he didn't say was that all of them actually stuck. Let them try it out. I have faith in production to decide what works and what doesn't for future seasons.

Mike White is so badass in so many ways. I'm really really interested to see Survivor 2.0

 

Has anyone done the offical Facebook Survivor fantasy game in prep for s41, I want to play but think my country is geoblocked, what does it look like

 

When worlds collide....

Jeff was this weeks guest on Mark Hoppus' radio show. The entire episode was survivor/"if you were stranded on an island" themed. Jeff has some good taste in music too. Never would've thought that haha. Makes me like him even more than I already do.

They didn't talk much about Survivor. Mainly music and Jeff's explanations behind songs he chose to play. Still cool.

Omg I forgot today is Wednesday!!! I have to close tonight so I’m going to miss the live premier and I’m bummed about it. I’m really hoping they put it up online by the time I’m home though!

I was watching s35 this week and I feel like I reaslised at the time too, but I did a double take on about the third one when he dropped 6 Foo Fighters references commentating a challenge

 

Jeff chose Best Of You to be played and talked about being friends with Dave Grohl on Mark’s show haha. Fucking legend.

God I love this show

 

Appreciate the intent but if you’re gonna drop the ‘guys’…just drop it! Don’t spend five minutes of screen time on it!
