I enjoyed him saying he played an aggressive game. I would have flipped my vote towards him based on how he was acting at tribal. Just get rid of that paranoia.

 

To be fair, judging from the preview of next week's - it doesn't look like the paranoia was all created by Adam... he just got the blame for it. lol

 

even watching the episode last night, Nick kicked it all off, not Adam lol

 

Really cool that they all got a family visit, made for a really lovely beginning of the episode.

 

This season is just constantly firing on all cylinders

 

Tony further cementing legend status

 

Tony is definitely my preferred winner at this point

 

I don't know if I want him to, but I have to agree that Tony is definitely playing the best game so far, and probably deserves to win.

 

As of now it's Denise for me.

The Sandra move but also she could work last night's idol play into her convincing Kim to play it for her if she wants even more ammo.

 

the preview made it seem like Tony might finally lose his marbles, I can't imagine how much insanity he has been trying to hold in

 

I think Sarah wasted her steal a vote as they already had them outnumber 5-4. Her 2 votes for Denise did not matter at all since the other tribe had 3 votes they would covered her 2 votes. Weird strategy.

next week being back to 5 on 5 should be a crazy episode and yeah, looks like Tony is finally letting loose.

 

she didn't give 2 votes to Denise, she split her votes. The split is why she needed to play it.

The vote was 5 Tyson, 2 Sophie, 2 Denise.

If she didn't use her steal a vote it could have been 4 Tyson and 3 Sophie, but they wouldn't have been able to split between Tyson and Denise, so without the steal a vote, there was potential Tyson was saved and Sophie went home. WITH the steal-a-vote, they secured that Sophie was not going home.

 

I got called heartless by friends cause I was sulking they wasted 29 valuable minutes on family visits haha
I did redeem myself by loving the exile jury all hugging Jeff at the end

exactly, and he didn't know either. He made the right move, he'll get shit for it, but I don't think it's going to put a HUGE target on his back since other advantages were played anyway

 

This season should have been 90 minute episodes.

Even as someone who has watched maybe 15 seasons you're still invested in the people on the Edge of Extinction. A super season deserves super episodes. I also wonder if there was any talk about some people only going on if they got to see their family. I imagine the contestants had more power for this season.

 

It was contractual that everyone got to see their family this year, some of the cast would only play if they could.

 

Yep, I read somewhere that Tyson had that as a condition to playing again.
