I can't believe the entirely of Old School is gone, just so crazy how this has played out

 

You gotta wonder if they can’t keep up with the new game, or just their legend status was their targets on the head

My wife has a theory that Wendell and Michele aren’t on bad terms at all and are hamming up this horrible breakup so people won’t think of them as a power couple when in reality they’re working pretty closely together. I feel like last nights tribal did kinda feel like that tbh

 

Last night makes me think this is true. But why play it up when it’s just them and the cameras?

 

I guess so production wouldn’t try to interfere? I’ve heard that in Danni’s season she gave them very little strategy talk for that reason

Yeah, I mean.. I guess Wednell and Michelle could be playing it off and their relationship is better but at the same time... Wendell is still being a total asshole to her in every single scene.

Playing the had a bad breakup thing would be one thing but for the way he cuts her off and belittles her opinion is another. Fuck that guy.

 

sorry but Wendell is not treating Michelle like trash when they are in a one-on-one scenario just for show

 

Now I’m really glad I’m rewatching Cook Islands, I feel like a good amount of the extinction people are gonna come back though. The look on Adam’s face at Boston Rob coming back would kill me

 

Only one or two people from extinction will come back into the game

I think they will change the WAY that the person will get back into the game, but not multiple

 

I don't know what happened to Wendell. I absolutely loved him during his season and his bff duo. Now he's seemingly a huge jerk.

 

Yep, it's a bummer to see. It really seems like the win went to his head and he is full of himself. Michelle has been saying as much about it, and I certainly believe what she is saying

 

Which doesn't make any sense. He's literally playing a season with ALL WINNERS. But he's acting as if he's the best there is, there was, and there ever will be. And the way he talks to Michelle...It's sad that the win went to his head. He was so charming before.

To visually illustrate the Old School v New School, I wrote down the season each player first played in, and bolded those who have been voted out. Prettttty crazy. Sophie is now the player left who first played the longest ago:

It’s also interesting to note that most of the people left at this point have only played the one season they won and that’s it (Jeremy, Tony, and Sarah being the only three left that have appeared multiple times), which kinda goes with Yul’s whole thing about the higher-profile in and out of game connections

 

I saw a tweet that said Ghost Island Wendall was Community Donald Glover and WaW Wendell is This is America Donald Glover and honestly couldn’t agree more

 

Not really a surprise, but filming for season 41 and 42 have been suspended indefinitely

 

Ego from being on tv? Who knows, hero edit in his season?

 

Not counting the people on extinction, Sophie and Sarah are the only two I'd care to see win at this point.

Just heard on No Dunks NBA podcast which transition into a Survivor pod that there was an unaired reward challenge where pizza was won, wonder how often that happens
