I miss Jonny Bananas on that show. You could tell he was having the time of his life laughing at just how completely insane the rest of cast was Meanwhile Fairplay was just kinda miserable the whole time. But it definitely highlights the difference between the gamer villains and the non gamer villains (especially some of the housewives or other soapy celebs). Gamers know it's a game and know how to put on a show for the producers but at the end of the day they are all just people Whereas someone like New York... I legit don't know if she's just that committed to Kayfabe that she never turns it off if a camera is rolling or she's legitimately like that 24/7
Haha I was super happy to see Bananas make an appearance for a quick second this season. Bananas and Tyson are experts at their crafts, I enjoy both of their podcasts for their respective shows and listening to them dissect the game and explain why they do what....they truly know how to make good TV. I go back and forth with New York. She's the same exact person she was two decades ago lol, I tend to think she's REALLY like that in real life....but I also read an article that she had no idea what she was doing in S1 because she didn't know what kind of show they were filming so once she realized what it was, she knew how to act. However, I really didn't notice any kind of change between seasons lol. But I don't mind either way lol, I miss that era of VH1 reality shows and she's iconic for that era. I even heard people said they spotted another VH1 person in a trailer that should be making an appearance later this season that was linked to her so I'm looking forward to that.
I've only seen the first episode of this season. I do think there is only so much room for strategy. In part because some of the other players are such idiots than you can't really trust then with anything strategic at all. But it really isn't that kind of show. So definitely curious how Tyson works out Anyways back to the actual thread Jesus Christ Emily was a disaster this episode but getting Q out was still the right call. Interesting Ozzy took credit when at least from the edit it appeared to be Mike Whites doing what does he really gang by doing that?
The second season was good, it was Wes that season running the house lol. Yeah when Ozzy took credit for it I was like wait what, because the edit didn't show that at all
Ok so Q has been confirming in interviews and social media that Ozzy in fact said NAH and the edit got it wrong. He never took credit for anything.
Yeah, I don’t know if I like Q as a player. I do enjoy him as a storyteller and character though. Maybe he can come back and someone just drags him to the end
I know it can be a bitch to stop and pause a live challenge but good God I was like YO JEFF, like I felt that *through* the tv and I was kinda amazed Colby kept trucking. I said ouch!
AUS EP10 and 11 Fantastic blindside and LOL at Aisha going home with Blanche's idol. Long live Brooke! And yay at Simon being in the right side of the vote! Well let's see how redemption island goes, good job on Mark squirming his way out of getting votes that was a hectic tribal with all the whispers going on.
Incredible move with the 3-2-1 vote from Christian here. I do worry he’s becoming very obviously the biggest target again.
christian steals every scene he’s in so far this season. i really hope he’s not flying too close to the sun.
Maaaaannn such a bummer to lose Mike this early but great job Christian catching on and making the move, because he was absolutely right that Mike had too much power and is too smart. Great gameplay there, great job with not fully knowing how things would go The Zac Brown shit was so dumb, waste of time, and if course Coach/Colby/Joe Bros loved it
Saw a lot of discourse on the zac brown reward last night and I don't get it. Remember when Survivor had fun/interesting rewards?? Not just trips to the Sanctuary for different types of meals like they repeated over and over again between seasons 41-49. I thought it was great and I'm all about breaking up the monotony that was seasons 41-49.
Agree with that in theory but the rewards used to be interesting cultural experiences, etc. This was essentially still a visit to the sanctuary but with an added 10 minute segment of Zac Brown spearfishing (who cares??) and if you don’t like his music 2 full song performances certainly didn’t help.
Yea there’s unique and interesting rewards and then there’s the puff piece we got on Zac Brown last night lol
It was an extended commercial for him and his "new song" about friendship or whatever. No thanks. Send them Taking Back Sunday next time
"Today, you're also playing for reward" :::cheering and clapping::: "The first tribe to complete their puzzle, not only gets immunity and is safe from tribal council, but you will also get to listen to Music League's premiere pop-punk playlist, curated by the people who know the genre the best" :::: jaws drop, Jonathan bellows "I hope there's some yellowcard!!," Cirie cries::::
