AUS E01 David's got a real good vibe with the players, so that's nice to see. Gimme evil Mark all the way haha, I didn't know he was punk rock! Daniel is a mess lol I knew he wasn't long for the world. Tribal was okay, you could tell David was trying to do his best JBL impersonation lol. JBL had a way of speaking....David sounded so forced and scripted. Other than the returnees, I think Lottie, Caleb and Faith are people to watch. Lyndyl too maybe.
AUS EP02 LMAO Mark and Brooke. We're all Mark, fangirling over Brooke, she's awesome! Ah yes I love physical challenges. Jackson and Tez was hilarious. That was a really neat immunity challenge too, lots of stuff going on in that one. Good for Simon! Tribal was fun, I'm really enjoying Mark this season. He pulled that off like a genius he knew what kind of game Cat would play. I know US Survivor has the rare instances where they've had someone from Big Brother play but I always find it fascinating in moments like this, where you had Mark and his Survivor gameplay, then you had Johnson playing with his Big Brother mentality, and then we had Cat with Traitor gameplay. People who play one show tend to think they can play Survivor the same way they played their other show and madness ensues because it ends up a trainwreck. As a fan of MTV's The Challenge I've seen how the show has incorporated players from other shows l, such as Big Brother, Survivor, The Amazing Race, other dating and competition reality shows. It never works out. No two shows are the same and what works in one show will not work on another. Dynamics are way too different. Would I liked to see Cat stay to watch her throw wrenches into everything and create messes? Hell yeah. But Mark is being a realist and knowing where she comes from, he realizes she's a liability. Which is also why he originally wanted to go Johnson. Too much of a risk. I'd actually enjoy if CBS did a season of US Survivor and featured only people from other shows. I know plenty of people from The Challenge wouldn't be up for that haha. They actually tried something similar on The Challenge. Back in 2008 they had a season called The Island where they were on an island and had to live like people on Survivor l. If you ask anyone in The Challenge what's their least favorite season they'd say The Island because iif that haha, they did NOT like having nothing and having to build their own stuff. But yeah, I'd like to see if people from other shows could manage it. It's be interesting to see how alliances and friendships form and how they adapt to a different game than they're used to.
US EP01 Mike Bloom is precious and has a 6 pk! Queen Cirie showing why she always slays, sorry Jenna! Still think Tiffany and Kamila's spots should have gone to old school players, enough representation from their respective seasons. Ozzie has an extra vote AND the Billie Ellish idol! Bummer about Kyle. Hope he recovered as that looked like a bad tear.
Yeah honestly couldn’t ask for more, loved every bit of that. Feels amazing to be watching Coach on my tv in 2026.

Loved seeing the oldies back in the fold but holy heck was there a ton of advantages to start the game. But part of me kind of like the idea of having all-returning seasons with extra wacky advantages.
the Billie Eilish of it all was pretty weird TBH, there wasnt really an explanation of why she is involved other than I guess she had the idea? Maybe a clip of her watching the show, or saying something, could have helped.... anyway, interesting idol if it ends up working as intended
Yeah I was afraid the celebrity integration was going to be over the top, but this one, at least, was mild. It's like she sponsored it and slapped her name on it.
Never actually watched a full season before but watched a bunch of other tagential stuff / tiktok/youtube summaries so decided to give a full season a watch for once Coach is a weird dude. I had heard he was weird going in but it felt more "angry ill tempered weird" rather than the goofy weird I thought he was. Cirie and Ozzie are fun to watch play but I do think they might be too big of a fish. It'll be interesting to see if they can actually make significant progress - was definitely smart for them to pair up as I think everyone else is rightly going to keep them at arms length given how dangerous they can be. Feel like they are definitely setting themselves up to be midseason boots Rick Devens and Christian were a lot of fun. Also liked Q Genevieve and Rizo. And Mike White of course. I get that there is money on the line and you do need at some level to take the game seriously but I also appreciate the people who are going into it with a mindset of "This is still just a game. And I'm here to have fun"
Honestly might be the best opening episode I've seen of Survivor minus Pearl Islands. This coming from someone who has seen only old era (1-20) and new era (46-49). Genevieve has been my pick since before the game started, and I'm excited to see the coverage she got, although I'm worried about her alliance's position. Colby and Rizzo's dynamic is so fun and sweet. Old and young. Really haven't been a big fan of the latter, but getting those two together is a stroke of genius. I'm not familiar with Christian or Devins' seasons, but I want to watch any season they've been on after this episode. Freaking love those two already. Kyle leaving was a bummer. But also maybe the best thing for Kamilla's game, and I'm more invested in her. Joe hasn't endeared me anymore to him yet. Production really loved 48. I don't love Ozzie or Coach but their classic characters and their dynamic together is great. They need to stay in a bit longer. Jenna's boot is a little sad, but for all the time she's spent on the show, she's never made an impression on me. I think Mike White might be the next to go, honestly. I'm also still trying to figure out what Tiff is doing there, even though I like her. Super excited to keep watching. That was so fun.
