Like Fishback said in that interview: "As a former juror myself, I know that the jury roots for the little guy. Michele just needed to give Jason and Julia and Scot enough of a reason to write her name down." All you need to know. Based on what we saw on TV, Michele didn't play the best game. She did win the challenges when it mattered though so can't say she was totally undeserving.
Updated Information on S34! • /r/survivor For those who enjoy overanalysis. I'm pretty indifferent about who from that winners list gets selected; would rather not see Sophie or Mike again. Natalie is the wildcard in that her second play could be really awesome or really forgettable.
Season 34 cast: Andrea Boehlke Brad Culpepper Aubry Bracco Caleb Reynolds Ciera Eastin Jeff Varner Cirie Fields J.T. Thomas Debbie Wanner Malcolm Freberg Hali Ford Ozzy Lusth Tai Trang Sandra Diaz-Twine Tony Vlachos Sarah Lacina Troyzan Robertson Sierra Dawn-Thomas And, as a separate spoiler, the two people from S33 who are going to be on S34: Zeke and Michaela
As for theme, it's probably not gonna be based off where they finished, as was previously speculated. Natalie Anderson had to drop out at the last minute and was (apparently) replaced with Sierra
That'd be my guess. Or some lame thematic thing based off playstyle (heroes vs villians? social vs physical vs strategic vs something else gameplay?) I haven't done any divisions to see if either of those fit.
Some other speculation I've read on /r/survivor that makes sense: "all stars" (people who have won or played multiple times) vs second chances if one of the s34 people are winners (Michaela for gender balance), then 4 tribes where past winners pick the tribes
I would have liked them to bring more people back for the second time rather than people for the 3rd 4th. Poor Neil, was gunning so hard to be brought back, and debbie and aubrey brought back instead
Yeah Neal didn't do anything for me on the island. If anything he showed a bit at ponderosa. Debbie at least was wildly entertaining in a Philip shepherd way Was good to see Philip at the Price is right special despite that being an hour ill never get back I really like Andrea but I don't need to see her again. Despite her been gorgeous. Ciera too. And I always thought Ozzy was a tool. Sorry I don't know how to black out. But are cast rumours spoilers anyway?
Definitely an interesting list, I'm sure it'll be great despite my personal feelings on a person-by-person basis. also @Schooner spoiler tags are [ spoiler ] text [ /spoiler ] without the spaces
This cast also could change. It'll be definitive when they fly out next week. Caleb and Troyzan are the only two 100% confirmed from random, non-insider sources. Also Varner made a tweet implying that he isn't on, but in a way that is probably him just trolling
S34 is filming now. Also of interest for S33 (not really major spoiler...probably) Survivor Set Destroyed By Fiji Cyclone | Inside Survivor Speculation is there's a pause of some sorts a few days in and that it actually gets presented to the audience; different from S31 and other seasons (Africa in particular) where they were given food and IVs off camera
I think the 15yr break after a failed Australian Survivor was also using that Fiji set. The host is looks just like Jeff and had American input due to the still strong ratings there (I think why along with Canada were included in second chance voting
I like it. The theme is grasping at straws. But maybe at least it'll put in the heads of a few they are suppose to make big moves like how the collar theme puts in their head they need to be smart or tough or caring
Thoughts: Interesting that most of the gen X tribe is either law enforcement or model I really hope Paul is everything I want him to be and more zeke is nothing like I expected interested to see how he does considering how he's on S34 this theme is already tiring, but i'm sure as Probst was finishing up the narration he was giddy as a goose. Also CBS fucked up and when releasing the buffs, revealed that we're getting another 2->3 split
Australian Survivor aired last night. It was actually very good and faithful to the US version. Host looks very Jeff like. But did a really good job. 55days may be a bit long for a few of them
