    AUS EP24
Non spoiler review: this season had a LOT to live up to, it was following TvR which might just be the best global survivor season ever.....so it had shoes to fill. Did it live up to and surpass what came before? No. Was it an extremely fun season full of surprises (including global survivor records being beaten) and memorable characters? It sure was. It's a constant reminder that a 45 day game gives you plenty of time to appreciate the story you're watching and moves being made.
Hahahahahahaha Kaelan picking up AJ and carrying him all by himself was so wholesome. While I would have liked to see AJ get his first win Im happy for Kaelan for once again dominating. SEVEN wins. Seeing him break down was such a a moment......if it was against anyone else I'd say he'd be a perfect winner.

As soon as Myles brought up that Kaelan had made promises to BOTH of them I knew AJ was gone. Even though AJ brought up sooooo many good points as to the number of records that Myles has also broken.....RIP AJ.

GODDAMN Kaelan's pitch to the jury was flawless. I was VERY impressed! Myles' was also super well put together and full of valid points too. I think it really came down to Myles being more flashy and in your face, Kaelan laying low for him to the final two but he laid too low for people to notice and take note in the jury to be able to earn their votes. Plus Myles playing from the bottom allllllllllll game....he had the better storyline. But even during the questioning by the jury I was super impressed by how fiery Kaelan was! Ugh if only we'd seen more of this side of him during the season, if only he had more of a presence....and then AJ's final questioning I think made Kaelan lose confidence and unable to convey properly for the next few questions and Myles was able to shine.

The jungle rat lives on to become the sole survivor. Much deserved, he made the show entertaining. What a fun season.....not the best but I very much enjoyed it. I'm glad Kaelan got one vote because I'm sure it meant a lot to him, he played a hell of a game. He was just going up against Myles and like AJ said, he took people to the end he couldn't beat. His win record may never be beaten so he should be proud of his name going down in the books.

Bring on VS THE WORLD next!

I totally hear you, and it's definitely a combination of both (gameplay and personalities) which make Survivor the best reality show. In your example though, if I knew Gabler was the winner before I watched the season it would absolutely affect how I watched that season, likely would be pretty bummed most of the time knowing that no one else had a chance

Haha I remember so well during that season people kept being like "guys is gabler getting the winners edit" "guys the number of confessionals keeps going up" "this edit is too much" and I tried sooooo hard to shut that out but even I came to notice something was up. So while I consider that a very low point as far as winners go, in the other hand we got Jessie, Cody, Carla, and Cassidy who imo had the unfortunate circumstance of being on 43 lol. Because those personalities I feel outshine the actual season they were in. I think that can go hand in hand with what you said but in the opposite direction, had I seen Jesse in a potential future season (without seeing 43) and discovered he WASN'T the winner is be like HOW is this extremely likable, extremely skilled in maneuvering the game, extremely capable person...how do they NOT win their season??? Which would then lead me to want to seek out 43 and then while yeah I'd feel robbed of a Jesse win I think I'd ultimately like the season as a whole because gabler aside, there was enough intrigue to keep my eyes glued to the TV. Which is what my experience was with AUS, I was like who is this glorious majestic person and what season were they on previously???

The jungle rat did it!!! I really didn’t think that was possible a few weeks ago wow lol. Myles is probably my favorite winner in a long time, one of my favorite Survivor characters ever at this point.

him and AJ were neck and neck, I wasn't sure who was gonna win......then Kaelan cut AJ and I was like well looks like now we know! Kaelan went down swinging but the jungle rat became the rat king! Truly one hell of a journey, from constantly being in the bottom to where he finished. His montage in the episode was perfect, while he made big moves he also was sloppy.....but in the end he owned up to it. One great strategist, not only will his gameplay be remembered but HIM too!

    Aussies finale spoilers reaction

Really tremendous final three, and I’m glad Kaelan got a vote at FTC because he just dominated the physical part of the game. AJ got too cocky at the end, for a guy who was already playing an overly cocky game to begin with. I think Myles just edged him out in my ranking of deserving winners, and the rightfully deserving player won. Great season overall.

Sentiment seems to be really down on this season, people not liking the “strong guys” alliance, and rightfully so. But I think there’s still hope. If anyone outside of that alliance somehow wins it kind of becomes an all-time great season IMO. Plus I kind of think like Kyle and Shauhin are ready to flip at any point, at which point it also gets exciting again.

I think David is already set to destroy his own alliance and it'll get better. I hope

I'm ready for this season to take off. It felt like every episode of 47 from episode 3 on was a banger. The characters on this season have been so fun, but halfway through everything is starting to feel flat. The gameplay has been so meh that even the personalities feel blunted.

I think it's interesting that there are essentially four pairs, and then Shauhin. If he has any sense, he'll team up with Kyle and Kamilla, and those three will gather Star and Mitch and they'll start picking off the strong alliance. Of course, Shauhin could just as easily team up with the strong alliance. I think he might actually be in the best position to win right now.

I don't understand how no one is realizing the absolute beast that Mitch is in challenges
