What are people’s thoughts on David taunting Joe and essentially wanting him to quit once it was just the two of them?

 

David was pretty annoying in that challenge, bro

 

Yeah him flexing by holding it with just one hand was super cocky.

I'm somewhat conflicted. I typically like a villain character as they bring drama to the show.....but Sai wasn't *really* that. She was playing hard, but then this interview about how she'd be on jury is beyond petty....like look Sai, you played a good game. You played survivor. Now you're part of the jury, you're not playing anymore, ITS NOT ABOUT YOU.

 

she said something super narcissistic when she got voted out like “y’all are in love with me” or something, it was a few days ago. she wasn’t a villain in the traditional sense, just annoying.

cedrik could have been a good heel, when he blindsided the girl who confided in him right before trial and turning on pizza guy (rip pizza guy)

 

Yeah, she said "they're all just obsessed with me" and I just gave her the side eye like no lol, just no. Narcissistic was quite the understatement there haha.

Ams then Ced turning on that girl who told him she lost her vote.......he had all the makings but he couldn't perform for his life so his character development never got past that hahaha.

 

Rewatching the first episode and it’s hilarious how emotional and “triumphant” Sai is after figuring out the riddle to get the idol.

like, it’s day 1 (or 2), you basically had everyone help you solve it and then it’s just water works and Rocky music as she talks about overcoming all these obstacles and what not and it’s like holy shit take a breath it’s not day 25 and you overcame Herculean tasks lol

Without spoiling how they did or who they are, does anyone have a breakdown of which seasons Australians are from? Trying to see if it's even remotely possible to catch up in any reasonable way before this airs

It's a lose lose, I really don't see a way that Aus v world doesn't get spoiled, the US cast and how they do us going to be everywhere. But if I watch it, it would spoil so many seasons I want to watch

 

Nah you'd be fine. I didn't start at the first Aus, I started at Heroes vs Villains so I didn't know who this person was from that person, I didn't know WHY these people had the reputations or past histories with other players and it was still a great season, so much so that it made me want to go back and start from the beginning and watch seasons that made these characters great.

 

Really? I dunno I just feel like they absolutely will make it known if there's a winner playing, and vice versa make it well known if a player didn't win their season

 

Lol I'm trying to walk on eggshells here cuz I know you hate spoilers of any kind....... Now on VS WORLD they could say "winner of WHAT season" and maybe show some highlights of said season, but just me personally I don't think that's too spoilery. Once again, walking on eggshells.....the AUS team isn't even a team of winners. There's more NON winners than there are actual winners, because just like US, we have boring winners but we wouldn't consider them the best representative of their season....like take Johnny Fairplay. Total days in all his seasons is like....40? Never won. But his name is synonymous with the show for being a villain and there are FAR more people who are the PERFECT highlight of their season that should hopefully, just hopefully make you go "huh, I really like this person I want MORE" (which is exactly what happened to me in regards to someone on VS WORLD, I watched them in HvV and was hooked on WHO this person was so I decided I needed to watch more).

Basically what I'm saying is,
1. AUS not being a team of winners should still leave you wanting to know WHO then won their season if this person didn't. I HOPE they don't say "so and so finished whatever place" under their name, if they don't then you won't even know when the vote out happens, just they didn't win it. But you should still be enticed to see their seasons.
2. Just my personal feelings, that watching someone be declared sole survivor is only part of the show, the other part is the actual journey that's told as we watch a 45 day journey play out and watch different storylines play out. More times than not, casting gets it right and we get some GREAT personalities but unfortunately there's only one winner and sometimes it's not them. Doesn't take away they're the best part of the season though. I do feel the journey is more important than knowing/being spoiled on the end.

You're fine, I promise. I guess for me it's like, if I am watching Joebags from Aussie Season 7 and he is on a redemption arc, then yeah when I get around to 7 I'll know day 1 that he isn't going to win, so that already loses some of the mystery... for mer personally

 

Yeah I totally get that. I admit it does lose some listed knowing the final outcome but watching HOW they navigated their way to a win and the supporting cast of personalities is sometimes more enjoyable. Like take US 43.....I could care less about Gabler and his win l, to me that season was all about Jessie and his shenanigans haha. But to touch on what you said about arcs, that's why it's hard to narrow down the list of "must-see" seasons of AUS, because there's multiple instances of people getting started on one season and returning on another and it's super fun to see who stayed the same who changed up their games etc.
