I remember him mentioning it wouldn’t be a straight forward ‘Superman 2’, but with Man of Tomorrow as the title I thought it was a play on words for renaming it Superman 2, similar to The Dark Knight as the sequel to Batman begins.
Curious if this is just a weird game of semantics or if Superman really isn't the main character of the film.
I’d bet he is still the main character and receive the most screen time, the plot might just revolve around something that isn’t exactly Superman centric.
This movie inspired me to pick up All Star Superman. Just gotta get myself to start it. Never read any Superman before or much DC for that matter
If Man of Tomorrow is Lex in his classic armor reluctantly teaming up with Superman against Brainiac… it’s gonna be so good. Also hope Supergirl is in it. Also hope for more Hawkgirl. And, also continuing to hope for some Solaris.
Late to the party. Watched Superman with no context and absolutely loved it. The undertone of punk “do what you feel is right no matter what anyone says” hit so hard. Also when Noah and the whale faded in i was grinning so hard. lol pop culture music is no longer songs that were made before I was born, but I AM the target audience for nostalgia plays in popcorn movies. I really enjoyed this movie and thought they nailed the boundless hope in the face of impossible odds.
Just rewatched this and I just love it so much. Everyone is perfectly cast with Rachel and Edi being my favorites
