Finally saw this and thought it was just fine? Found it to be way too over stuffed and more interested in setting up the whole universe instead of making this movie great. I think it could have been great if you take the middle section out, remove the other heroes, and focus more on Clark/Lois/The Planet cast. The main cast were all excellent, but there just wasn’t enough time spent with them.

That shot was in promo material before the release date, so it shouldn’t be too tough to find

Does Clark Kent have a journalism degree? Like not just in this movie but in general?

Hollywood’s Good Boy should be in a future Superman movie.

I’m finally gonna see this on Monday. So very excited.

It will also be my first time in a movie theatre since 2019.

Yeah, that was my first time in a theatre since ... hell, I forgot? Woulda been Far From Home I think, where my sister's boyfriend rented out a theatre during the tail end of Covid times I think?

Took the day off work. 1pm show. Got there a few minutes early cause I have this stupid thing where I worry about missing anything. Good assigned seats. Only 8 people in the theatre (perfect! Friday at 1pm feels like a future winner time if I want to do this). 45 minutes of previews and ads. OMG. When did this become the norm and it needs to stop? The constant "content" playing while you wait is bad enough, it's just horrible ads and at least the local slideshows of my youth made me see local businesses, this was BRUTAL to sit through.

8 people. Two down to the left, for some reason moved from their assigned seats middle of the movie, to two rows back and to the left? I thought they were leaving at first. Two down to the right, super movie pros. Nerds! Two down the aisle from us, old men at the end of the aisle. Quiet. One in the very back of the theatre.

One guy one row down two seats over from us.

8+ phone pick ups during the film. Had it on dark mode. Had brightness ALL the way down. Hid it with his hand. So trying to do the best he could. Still caught my eye every single time. :crylaugh:

I'd do it again. But this exact same kinda setup, week after, middle of the day off work. Not for most movies. Maybe 2-3 at most. Still like movies at home in my tv room setup better for all the reasons I've said before. And also ... WHY PHONES? it's two hours ... come onnnnn people!

Movie theaters are my escape from my phone and the internet so it drives me insane that people take out their phone during a movie
