I missed the Mr. Terrific fight scene and I keep hearing how good it was. I just had to get a beer and have a small bladder. Total amateur
Lol I just meant I stop drinking anything like an hour or two before and don't get a drink during the movie
no I still pee during those 2-3 days but usually won’t have to go during the film when I abstain for liquids the few days beforehand
I am not too familiar with Supergirl lore from the comics, the thesis of her character that makes her different than Superman is that unlike Clark she actually remembers Krypton being destroyed and has to live with the trauma from that right?
What happened after they rescue Superman and crew from the pocket universe and when Jimmy and Eve are having their secret convo? That was when I went to pee based on my theory that the moment immediately AFTER huge set pieces is the best time to run to the restroom.
If I pulled it off, I really did miss nothing other than the beginning of that phone call. For real though. My bladder-afflicted brothers, NEVER leave when a slow scene / rest sequence begins; it is too late. You leave the second the big exciting sequence is resolved and you run both ways.
I forgot what movie it was but I definitely had at least one time where I thought the movie had 30 minutes left, so I went to go pee, and I came back and the credits were rolling.
Loved this. Another critic mentioned this, but I really enjoyed some of the camerawork. It felt like Gunn pulled the style he used to shoot the hallway scene in GotG3 and applied it here. There were even dialogue scenes where the camera was swinging around like that. Also, we should be talking more about Terrific palming that dude’s face and pushing him aside. Biggest laugh of the movie for me haha.
Really enjoyed this. Feel like a few of the summer blockbusters I’ve seen this year have missed the mark so this was a good time at the movies. The “mutant toes” scene killed me.
