This movie looks really fun! I'm excited to watch it! Almost as excited as I'd be to continue a particular conversation that was started in the politics thread a few months ago where someone made a bunch of nonsense fake deep posts about shit they didn't understand but in a way that was also wildly rude and combative and strangely personal in a kinda creepy way. Unfortunately that account hasn't posted since so alas I'll have to settle for James Gunn's Superman

But actually this does seem great, GOTG definitely my favorite of the MCU but that's down to the music to a large extent so I'm interested to see how I feel about this one

 

Lastly I always like when James Gunn gets work because every job he gets is a loss for Cernovich

BvS Ultimate is better than theatrical, but it’s also still more or less the same movie, and more of it. The charmingly (to me) convoluted plot hangs together better with the additional scenes, for sure. But, you have to be down for that very specific type of overwrought, hypermasculine (to the point of basically parody for me) melodrama to like it.

Like, it really comes down to: Do you hear that one working title was “Son of Sun and Knight of Night” and think, “that’s stupid (affectionate),” or “that’s stupid (derogatory)”?

 

just gonna come in and read up on a movie I’m excited about; bet theirs lots of fun posts and rumors

Just binged the final 12-13 episodes of Superman and Lois yesterday

Let me tell ya, James Gunn has some big shoes to fill will this movie. Excited, but damn, that show was really something
