TikTok gold. Does anyone know why that particular song got so popular?

 

I think the initial joke was "boy / man fridge" like this then from there it spread because of the accessibility of the lyric as a punchline. This was mostly how I saw it when it was having its moment.

 

I still don't get it lol

 

of course the one day I'm out doing field work they drop the album announcement on us, new track is a banger and love the artwork.

 

First time giving these guys a shot. Consider me a fan.

 

To a Gen Z this band is divorced dad rock so that's the perspective you have to keep in mind hence the joke of "man fridge having monsters cigarettes and guys being dudes sort of stuff". Hope that makes sense lol. Then when it spread it became more about the accessibility of the lyrics "it's useless I tried to no avail"

 

will be checking this out.

 

I’ve always found their previous stuff very inconsistent but all three singles have been great, their songwriting has improved a ton. High hopes for this.

On a serious note, I love how atmospheric it is and the tones are UNREAL

All signs are pointing to this being pretty easily their best album imo. Great bunch of singles

 

never heard these guys until tonight (thanks YouTube algorithm). Stare At The Void is my kind of shit

 

just listened to the rest of the singles and yeah, this is awesome

 

Can’t go wrong with either releases. I think Ours is Chrome is more consistent but Jar has better bangers.
