Ugh I'm more worried than ever for Mon-L. As soon as they introduced the Phantom Zone projector, I groaned because now I'm willing to bet he doesn't make it through the finale which sucks. This season has been spectacular and it's great to see how well they've weaved all the plot lines into this last story.
1.Either Supergirl Zod or Doomsday 2.Either Mon-L went to the future to lead the Legion of Superheroes or he got drafted into the Legends of Tomorrow
Really hoping that Mon-El shows up on Legends. I didn't even think of that but it would be amazing. Sad to see him leave this show though, he and Kara were so great together.
Good finale. Fight choreography is still a bit stiff, but at least it was framed in an epic way. Sad to see Mon-El go, I ended up liking his character a lot more by the end of the season.
Alura (Kara's mom) has been recast. Laura Benanti has left due to other work commitments, and Erica Durance, who played Lois Lane on Smallville, has been cast. Laura Benanti Exits ‘Supergirl’; CW Recasts Role
I wonder why they'd even bother using the character. I don't remember her even showing up in season 2.
Big Belly Burger is coming to National City. Finally, Supergirl feels like part of the Arrowverse hehe.
uhhh so this is weird. Spoiler for the Arrowverse crossover. https://www.reddit.com/r/FlashTV/comments/75rei6/crossover_so_here_is_our_first_look_at_overgirl
Hearing Grimes and Mitski in last nights ep was cool. "I saved your life!" "Yeah, but, like, so has everybody else here." lol
Great episode! Really hit the emotional beats. Seeing J'onn's favourite memory had me tearing up. It was tough watching the scenes with Maggie and her father though, too close to home for me.
Great casting tonight, especially the actress that played Alex. In the middle of the episode, I swear one of her outfits was styled based on a Veronica Mars ensemble from season 1. Haha. Same costume designer maybe? It was the jean jacket, striped shirt, choker, jeans with a belt. Very Veronica.
