Never listened to Superchunk before, but this album is awesome! "Black Thread" is a great closer and my favorite song on the record... knowing that, where do I go next?

 

the other two albums they made since reuniting Majesty Shredding and I Hate Music are the most similar to this one

all of their albums are great though, can't go wrong with any of them imo

Come Pick Me Up is very good too, from their older stuff

 

the only ones I have heard prior to this are Foolish, Indoor Living and Here's When the Strings Come In. discovering those three for the first time was a very good day.

We had the exact same trajectory for how we found them haha. Foolish is so awesome

 

Foolish ranks definitively as one of the best albums of the 90s imo

 

It is often left out of the convo which is criminal

 

Damn, this album is very good. The rarest of phenomena: a band whose comeback is as vital as their prime.
