meh. I feel like this would have been good 10 years ago. still going to see it though opening night

I saw the preview for this again when I saw Game Night this weekend and I must say it actually looks terrible. Like barely any thing funny or original. I remember seeing the original opening night when I was 17 and cracking up the entire movie. So much that I needed to see it again the next day. 17 years later and my mature self just thinks this looks stupid. And my girlfriend (who is 6 years younger than me), had no idea what the original super troopers even was. I was shocked and appalled

 

The original is a movie that has been quoted to death and it's lost all luster, for me. ST2 looks like a plane movie.

 

What, like Top Gun?

 

More like Red Tails.

 

I'm hoping it is that level of toplessness

Tempted to go to one of the early double features, but I kinda want to see this ON 4/20

So is this gonna be like Zoolander 2 bad?

 

didnt see Zoolander 2, but I have a feeling this sequel should have never been made. Judging from the previews it doesnt look promising. But as much shit that I talk, I will still be seeing this opening weekend lol

 

I enjoyed Zoolander 2 for what it was...

Despite being a fan of the original, I somehow never saw Zoolander 2, but I will be seeing this opening night.

Also Super Troopers is much better than Zoolander.

 

Beerfest is best Broken Lizard movie

I rented that like 10 years ago and couldn't make it through the first half hour.
Beerfest is amazing. Broken Lizzard really stepped up their game for that one. Wish they made Potfest instead of ST2. Super Troopers was great, just so played out. Slammin Salmon wasnt terrible. Club Dredd was decent too
