And as a first response: I could not love this single more. There is something very specific to this sound that scratches a permanent itch I have on my brain. It’s melodic as hell, the guitar tones are absolutely perfect, the dual vocals/call and response fit the song structure really well and it has a fantastic groove.
A band to watch this year. I liked the last album but it (for obvious reasons) felt a little disjointed. This levels up and fits right into that skate punk meets pop punk spot. Great harmonies.
I just discovered this band and I love it. It's nostalgic without feeling derivative. The attention to recreating (while also expanding) that 2000s pop-punk / Drive-Thru era is incredible. I'm looking forward to the new album. I'm thinking of seeing them when they come to Philly in April.
Is this band name taken from the Pile of Love song? Or is "super sometimes" some expression or something that I, as a non-native speaker, haven't heard before?
Wouldn’t it be crazy though if someone was spying on us right now? Why the fuck would you say that The boxes! A fantastic bit. Fantastic song. 2/2 for me.
Truly can’t stop spinning these singles. It’s hard to write something simple, catchy AND memorable. But both of these check all the boxes for me.
Man, the dual vocalist stuff absolutely BANGS. I I really like this one where I loved the other two. But if this is the floor for the album, it’s gonna be one of the best of the year.
https://www.outofrage.net/post/review-super-sometimes-show-the-world-what-s-underneath A really good first review. @Jason Tate will this get a review from someone? And is it still your most played of 2026?
