I just played for a few hours and I'm down to 2.7

I can't get a feel for any non Kirby character, which is a huge bummer because is uhhh not great

I three stocked an Ike that just kept nairing, that felt amazing. Lot of Lucinas and Palutenas out today.

 

I started WOL the other day and I'm kind of addicted to it now. It's super satisfying clearing the map and I love the design of the world. Also cool to see how they kind of make the fighters look like the spirits lol

 

Palutena and Mewtwo seem to be my most faced. Barely ever see any Simon/Richters but when I do they're an absolute pain in the arse. I feel genuine fear when I face a Mario because they're always absolutely absurd for some reason

 

i’ve found myself gravitating to Samus and DK. i want to be good with Incineroar but i kill myself with his recovery move like 110% of the time

 

K Rool/Ganon main here as I find them the most fun but they're really bloody hard to win with in the 3.1m/3.2m brackets. Tempted to pick up a lighter character and also hopefully shave my habit of aerials on shields as I get punished so hard constantly for those

 

Can someone explain GSP and what determines how much it goes up and down? I'll win a match and it will go up like 100K but then I'll lose and it will go down 500K.

I've been going on crazy streaks. My main is Captain Falcon and I'll win like 5 in a row and then lose 10 in a row. I've been diversifying with Roy and Chrom. And any character that can just send a projectile at you can fuck right off because those people just hide on the edge of the map and shoot you or throw things.

 

I mostly play yoshi and used to have so much trouble with sword characters and wreck heavies, but lately the opposite has been more true and I’m pretty confused about it

 

One still using Chrom as my main. Ness and Incineroar are next.

I like to play as Incineroar, but I’m not great with him.

 

People who rely on their characters’ ranged attacks can get fucking bent. Samus, Link, Simon, K Rool, Snake, Dedede, Mega Man. Cowards, the whole lot of you

 

Pretty sure that my main has officially become King K. Rool followed by Duck Hunt and Kirby...I don't really play online, but reading through all of this is making me tempted to start playing to see where I stand.

I think I’m gonna try more Palutena, I wish I could play Incenaroat but that recovery is killing me.

I refuse to play a projectile spammer, it’s just not fun to make other people frustrated.

 

Palutena has cemented herself as one of my mains but god forbid you miss with one of those tilts you will be relentlessly punished. They are so slow and long.

I never played him much in the other games but I've been by far doing the best with Captain Falcon in this game. Definitely would call him my main

 

His over B to up B combo is my jam

 

Been using Bowser Jr. recently with a lot of success so far.

 

I like the idea of using Bowser Jr more than actually using Bowser Jr.

 

Been playing with co-workers during our lunch breaks, and I find it more fun when we all choose Random for character select. Adds an element of surprise and forces us to get better with/against characters we don't normally play.

 

Me and my friends have been having full tournaments where we go to Squad Strike (I think that's what it's called, the one where you play a 3 or 5 stock match and every stock is a different character) and choosing all random. It's super fun
