Chrom and Lucina are probably my two mains right now, leaning toward Chrom.

Other favorites right now are Incineroar, Simon, and Lucas.

Edit: and Mii Brawler. Love that guy.

 

Honestly I think just turning around in a tight battle is the hardest skill in this game. I cannot do it for the life of me. The amount of times I grab or slash the wrong way because the character failed to turn around is beyond me.

 

I'm still trying out a bunch of characters (plus I don't have them all yet) but mine at the moment are Link, Ike, and Incineroar.

 

That new "leak" is very upsetting to me if true. Erdwin from Dragon Quest is fine, but Steve from Minecraft? The Marine from Doom? That's a super bummer and I hope Nintendo wouldn't do something like that. The fact that the leaker was right about Joker and Persona 5 R and a bunch of other stuff makes me worried.

 

Ummm Steve from Minecraft would be dope whatchu talkin bout.

The thing about smash bros leaks is that even when it seems 100% correct it turns out to be false.

On the subject of mains, I have no idea. Still trying to figure out who I'm actually good at - my best online characters as of the moment are Bowser, Ike, Ganon, and K Rool. I dabble in Dr Mario, Isabelle, Cloud, Lucas, Chrom, Corrin and Robin as secondaries but I'm still not that good as them. Been picking up Ice Climbers recently too they're actually very strong and quick and infinitely frustrating to play against

 

I've put hundreds of hours into minecraft over the past 8ish years, no shame. Sure the fandom and insane overload of merch is super cringy, but the game is still dope as hell.

 

It's not a dig against the game. I like Minecraft too. It's just the fact they'd put in Steve over 1000 other characters fans have wanted for years.

 

I still need goddamn Bomberman, he deserves better than an assist trophy

Geno, Bomberman, Banjo, Skull Kid, the pentagram thing you had to draw in Trauma Center, Paper Mario, and Pushmo are all better picks.

 

The main reason that “leak” seems fake is because of the lack of 1st party characters. I highly doubt all of the DLC characters will be 3rd party.

 

I mean, I don’t like Minecraft or Doom, but both are definitely iconic, so they do make sense. I’d rather see Master Chief than doom guy but real, active first party characters are probably a little too much, haha.

To be fair, “fans”, as in vocal people, which is a very small segment when a game sells as many copies as Smash, want increasingly obscure shit that the majority of buyers wouldn’t even recognize lol

Love the franchise, but unless they add a Pegasus rider or a drastically different type of fighter, I'd like the open slot for something else.

Man, now I kind of want a Pegasus rider...

 

There's strong rumors of a PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale 2 so maybe you'll at least get Big Daddy back.

 

The leaks seem predictable, I like Pirahna plant a lot because I was legitimately surprised.

Give me a ton of obscure shit that the reddit boys will hate.
