I really love how every classic mode is catered to that certain character. It’s fun playing a Ryu stamina only battles.

 

Unlocked all the characters. Finally feeling like I can hold my own against level 7s consistently.

Still love playing with Cloud.

I'd love to see another Final Fantasy character be one of the dlc fighters

 

I have been playing non stop for the past few days and I still don’t feel like I’m making headway. When I get into close combat I always resort to button mashing and I’m not sure how to combat when the enemy hits first and combos me.

 

Someone else said this the other day but I’ve literally been playing these games since I was like 8 years old and that’s why I think I’m “good” (I’m not that good) now. Those instincts just develop over time by playing against other people that are good.

 

my brother has been egging me on to buy online because he wants a “challenge” and I’m not buying it yet just to spite him and eventually beat him.

 

Yeah, I agree with this whole heartedly. I really only consider myself okay at best at this game, but my buddy can do combos and such that just almost take the fun out of it for me. But, like you, I’ve been playing since the first one came out on the 64 so that’s about the only reason that I can even remotely keep up.

That and the fact that I’ve played this game with my friend who is insanely good at it for around 10 years now.

 

I’ve been having a ton of trouble making the transition from Wii U to ultimate version. The little nuances take a while to pick up on.

 

I played the 3DS version a lot longer than the Wii U one because I got a Wii U way late so I'm kinda feeling at home when playing handheld, which isn't saying much because I'm pretty bad still lol

I was Falco, they were Kirby

 

I was Kirby he was Falco. He won game 1 with like a full stock, game two I won like last stock last hit, then I won game 2 with 2 stocks.

 

A ROB main versus a Isabelle main is the semis I dreamed of.
