Just from messing around Pichu actually seems better than Pikachu now. Those short hop aerials are nothing to fuck with.

 

I pay spectrum an obscene amount of money so I should have a rock solid connection. Will test the online waters tonight as I've not done that yet

unlocked Simon and Richter back to back last night which was rad, and saw the Paz spirit which is super dark

Short hop aerials are massively important in this game, especially online with lag, those come out quick

 

I thought that initially but if I pause it I can use those buttons to select options or operate the camera. It only stops functioning during the match.

Yup. Whoever your opponent is for that round, decide on a schedule that's within the deadline that's good for both of you and just setup the matches on your own.

I won't be home from work until around 7pm (PT). If that doesn't work I'll have to bow out.

 

I'm not home til about that time nearly every weeknight as well. I'm guessing most people involved have similar obligations, hopefully with a week to nail down a time to play everyone can work it out

yeah evenings and weekends will be my main play times. what's the worst time difference going to be? West Coast to UK? 8 hours? Weekend game is pretty do-able

Bowser is a cheat code in World of Light. I've gotten so far just by spamming smash attacks with him. Get a spirit that buffs smash attacks on top of that and it's just unfair.

Pretty consistently beating level 9 CPU's so I thought I was good to go onto online, so I go and search for 1v1s and get 5 4 man free for alls in a row instead lmao fuck my life

 

I feel like some of the characters are unreasonably hard to unlock
