I just learned that apparently I'm the kind of Smash player everyone hates because I mained Mewtwo in Melee and Meta Knight in Brawl?

 

I may be at work - but if I'm home in time I'm in.

Is there a comprehensive guide to World of Light yet? I've been pushing through hard mode and just got to the Dark World. Feel like I'm definitely gonna hit a wall soon if I don't get some guidance on where to find the best spirits and how to use them.

 

The one thing i'm worried about is lag. So if there is lag in a match what do we do? A rematch??

 

Lag is frustrating online, I played a friend yesterday and started lagging and getting destroyed. It kills the fun.

 

I know, it is so infuriating, and what's worse is that you can't just end the match. Ugh, I keep telling myself they will patch in some adjustments for online but I just don't know if they will do enough. It is clearly the one negative to the game.

 

just to clarify, the entire tourney wont happen in a day. it officially starts later, but we have 1 week to finish our round one. also we’re just testing the waters (we don’t have all the rules pinned down, yet), so expect some rough patches haha

I definitely don’t know the nuts and bolts behind it, but it’s crazy to me that Splatoon usually runs very smoothly for me, but this is always such a toss up. You’d think they have the means to make this run smoothly as well

 

if it’s lagging for you, wont it be lagging for the other player too?

Okay, thanks I will definitely get my online play set up before the week is up then. I was just worried that I absolutely had to get on at 5 today and play which would have been impossible for me.

 

haha yea. i don’t think that would work in our case. you can’t really expect 20ish people to show up online all at the same time.

i highly encourage everyone publicize their matches though, here or on discord. that way people can spectate if they wanted to.

nope. i assume most people would schedule their round 1 matches on the weekends anyway

 

Yes it would, but it still would be an issue! I mean I feel like all of us have good internet connections being the nerds we are? Haha idk.
