I think Dark Souls will get some representation. Solaire or Ornstein.

Seeing Persona get some representation gives me a tiny glimmer of hope for 2B/NieR:Automata. Persona is overall more commercially successful than NieR, but as far as I know, Automata actually outsold P5, so it's not too obscure to rep. Most notably, though, is that Sakurai is on record as saying he's a big fan of the NieR series.

So if we're gonna be getting more 3rd party content, especially from some slightly more unexpected, unconventional franchises, 2B might have a shot.

I'm clearly setting myself for disappointment.

 

I honestly want a stubby from Nier Automata more than 2B Haha. I think itd be fun, bullet hell and EMPs and stuff. Wouldn't complain about 2B though

 

Tracer feels VERY likely and would be fun

 

can’t believe everyone is already talking new fighter when we still have two needing to be released lmao

 

Incineroar and Inkling are fun as hell, I have a lot of characters still to unlock though.

How do I get up on this tourney

 

After the initial launch stuff with friends, I've literally just been poking around with the online modes. Really fun, even though I'm super bad. Haven't even gotten to the Spirits and Campaign stuff yet lol. Only character I've unlocked is Mii Brawler, after making one

it may just be because i've been playing a lot of it recently but Hollow Knight would have some great movesets that would transfer well to Smash

The Knight and Black Shadow (with Ganondorf's moveset) are the characters I want most. Hey, I never thought Sakurai would let Ridley be a character, who knows.

(I do, they're never getting in. Even Shovel damn Knight was an AT.)

 

I'm supposed to wait for Christmas to get this as a present but I want to play it so bad lol

 

Madeline from Celeste would be sick, she could have some really interesting movement options, and would definitely get a lot of people interested in finally playing that game.

Apparently if you change stick sensitivity to high the game moves a lot better so I'm trying that this morning.
