If Goku is DLC then the other 4 characters could all be piranha plant and I would still be happy.

 

ngl I really hate the idea of non-videogame characters in smash. I'd only begrudgingly take a jojo character where all their attacks are outlandish jojo poses from the series

 

I would love to get Crono as a classic NES rep (or the hero from DQ8), another Square-Enix rep, and the Toriyama art-style to satiate Goku fans.

 

There's a high chance we're getting another square enix rep as DLC, rumoured to either be Sora or a Dragon Quest rep

 

I wish the Jojo fighting game was better (still entertaining though)

 

I love Kingdom Hearts but don't want Sora anywhere near Smash - and if DLC was really decided back in 2015/2016 I don't think his odds are great. Dragon Quest seems likely because they're trying to push it harder in the west and Smash is an easy way to do so - plus Piranha Plant opens the door for something like Slime to represent the series.
