I’m expecting them to announce the next Direct during Nintendo Live, ala EVO. And yeah, the 8th is the heavily rumoured date.

 

8th is definitely most likely as the last few directs we've had have been in the 2nd week of the month but I'm hoping for the 1st

 

I really stop caring about leaks and new info when a game is literally one month away from release ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It would be absolutely hilarious if during the next direct NONE of those characters were revealed and they show a new poster and it has like Joanna Dark or Gex or something.

We’ve already gotten two 25+ minute long info dumps. Think of how much shit is in this game to be able to fill another 40.

Also is anyone legitimately nervous? It’s weird ‘cause I don’t particularly care about anyone in the leak except Shadow (and even him, I don’t want that badly), but I still want it to be real.

Basically if they open with Incineroar, I’m gonna be sad.

 

Someone the reddit was saying the leak was fake because they would need like 45 minutes to really get into all the characters, the last mode they haven’t revealed, and any online stuff.

There's a treehouse straight after so they could realistically do what they did with ridley and leave gameplay of the characters and their movesets till that

I was thinking this as well. It’s hard to fathom 5 character trailers in one Direct. However, two rumours going around might take care of this: 1. possibly getting a second, general Direct later this month, 2. multiple characters may share a trailer.

To be fair, they certainly have the time for it (~2 minutes a piece, leaving 30 minutes for everything else), and like MFA said, the Treehouse could cover the gameplay.

 

Geno or this franchise is dead to me.

 

Someone noticed that the direct is 39 and a half minutes long and that this is clearly a direct correlation to the Grinch's 39 and a half foot pole. IRREFUTABLE PROOF
