This is when I knew Bert and Erine were finally in Smash. Reggie's a huge fan of the series, it all makes sense.

 

Really hoping they sort the online out for this one.

From its reveal I've been delving back into SBBWiiU and the Lag is ridiculous. Admittedly fighting games are never seamless for me and my broadband speed is weak at best; I do use a LAN adapter and have no other problems with other ninty games

 

I'd love online matches to let you customize too. The last one only let you use Time Mode.......but everyone plays with Stock right?

 

People need to stop with the Waluigi shit.

 

I say the only game I'm ok with him being in is Mario Tennis.

 

He's already an assist trophy and Sakurai and his team did a lot of work to bring back every character. People are just ungrateful dicks.

 

Are people being dickish about? I just made some noise about it around the announcement because I genuinely wanted him in the game.

 

People have harassed and I think in very minor cases even threatened Sakurai. It's really childish.

 

That is stupid.

 

I much prefer to play with Stock but most online games seem to be timed @ 2 minutes.

 

For Glory was always 2 stocks, 6 minutes, For Fun was always purely timed.

 

Half the reason I wanted a Switch was new Smash Bros and I'm so fucking happy it's coming so soon

 

I really hope this game lets me have a match between Luke Skywalker and Rick Grimes from TWD. A dream come true.

Didn't one of the SoulCalibur games have SW characters?

 

Yeah it was pretty cool! SC 4 had Starkiller from Force Unleashed and then Vader for PS and Yoda for Xbox I think.

Also they had someone from Assassins Creed because why not.

 

Live event on the 15th, 10 PM EST. Some kind of Smash+Aces tournament thing is happening. Bunch of people clamouring for a character reveal (especially now that a new dumbass leak is making the rounds), but I doubt we get anything of the sort. It's likely just another opportunity for more people to play the demo build/show off more gameplay.

I normally just buy the physical game anyhow.

 

I'm almost all digital now. Tempted to get that 400 GB SD card for only $140.

 

I spend more time than I should agonizing over physical vs. digital for the big releases. I love the convenience of digital but I also like actually owning something too.

 

The pros of digital easily outweigh the cons for me. I like convenience of not needing to constantly swap out games. I like not needing to go to a store and just being able to download them at my lesiure. The fact that there are tons of sales for digital titles and that I don't have to have a bunch of clutter in my house is great as well.

I guess I can understand the whole cons of no resale, but if more people shift over to digital maybe things will change? Like an exchange rate or something. I don't know.

Either way, I like limited editions and such, but that's about it.
