This game did it again. I finally found the Luncheon Kingdom painting and it leads to Peach’s Castle, but more specifically into a far away island that looks like Yoshi’s house in Super Mario World. It even has a similar message

 

This was one of my favorite moments in the game.

 

Yeah, there's definitely quite a few that still don't show up.

 

Yeah, I still haven’t delved in enough to work out if that covers all of them or not but that was what I was referring to.

 

It does not show you all the remaining moons. Post-game: It only shows the new moons that appear after you break the moon cubes.
I forget which one, but one of Toad or the parrot will put an X on the map leading you to an unearned moon if you really don't have any idea where to get a new one.

 

Thanks, that’s good to know, I wasn’t sure as it doesn’t make it abundantly clear (still that’s great as there’s more fun in it that way).

 

Just to be clear, one of the required moons in each kingdom is one that you purchase from the store, correct?

 

You can purchase more than one, it just goes to the total moon count to unlock more outfits, etc.

 

But yes, each Kingdom has a "quest" or whatever you want to call it to purchase a moon so you need to buy at least one everywhere.

 

I found that while playing through the Luncheon Kingdom on my first play through and was really disappointed because it kind of spoiled for me that that world existed. Was less fun when I beat the game and showed up there.

 

I found this today and I didn't even know that was a location in the game, lol. I'm guessing it's post-game or near the end?

 

1) I thought you could only buy 1 moon per kingdom? Unless this changes post game?

2) Ugh why does that cool artwork thing have to be in Luncheon Kingdom.....I hated that one haha

Holy cow, you guys weren't kidding about the finale and the post-game content. This could be game of the year, and I'm a HUGE Zelda fan.

 

I finished Darker Side today, and it's definitely up there with completing the challenge room in The Witness as the most satisfying video game moments ever for me.

If there’s anything Odyssey has taught me is that Mario can be just, if he really tries, a piece of meat.

 

just a wonderful absurd bit to top off a wonderfully absurd kingdom

this game continues to be everything I wanted it to be

 

Star bits as the purple coins in the moon kingdom was a really nice touch

Also everything everyone said about the ending was right. Really really well done.

 

603 moons. Such a grind.

 

Being able to keep going after you get a moon is such a great touch. I just finished Super Mario Sunshine less than a week ago and some of the longer levels got annoying to climb every time you got another Shine Sprite.

 

Anybody trying any of the leaderboard stuff? Got just under 27 seconds on Lost Kingdom Freerunning putting me at #252. Probably not going to try to get better.

Im unsure how someone was able to get more than 6 seconds faster than that...

 

About how many moons did y'all have after completing new donk? Just want to see if I'm in an okay spot
