First off, the snow cap + boxers is definitely the best outfit to run around the snow kingdom with

Second, its kind dumb I can't hook my switch up to my computer via an USB c cable and use that to get the pictures of the sd card

But more importantly, this game continues to surprise and delight

I didn't know toadette in the castle wouldn't give you more than one avievement at a time, just sat and talked to her thirty times and now I'm on Darker Side lmao

 

Just did the festival at New Donk City, 112 power moons so far. What is with the cube in every kingdom? Am I supposed to have figured out what to do with it?

 

Without getting into spoilers, you aren't supposed to do anything

 

Jump rope genius is the hardest thing I've attempted in a while

 

Beating Darker Side was easier than getting either 100 jumps or volleys is gonna be, smh

 

I didn’t have trouble with 100 jumps or volley at all but I’m somewhat sure Darker Side is gonna kick my butt.

 

Darker Side is obviously tricky, but it's manageable enough that it still stays fun. Really loved the design on that one, never felt punishing.

 

Absolutely. It took me days to beat but i never once felt that it was too much or not fun

 

As much as I adore Odyssey and collecting moons in the weirdest ways I kinda miss the nonstop platforming action of 3D World. The sections without the cap, and the doors with a tophat are my jams.

Does Darker Side have more of those crazy platforming shenanigans?

Now I’m suddenly craving for a Donkey Kong Country game on Switch lol.

 

Yeah I think you'll be happy, mix of quick platforming and some of the more prominent capture mechanics.

I too am hoping they do another 3D World before the next major adventure tho

 

“Beat” the game. Holy crap so much to do after. Didn’t even have 250 when I beat it but do now after toadette.

 

I hate when I enter a cap room and can only find the main moon and I have to go "does this one only have the one moon?!?!"

 

I was able to catch early on that every one of those stages has exactly 2 moons. I've yet to find a room that disproves it but I could also be missing a lot of 3rd moons if that's the case.

 

I have found 1 with 3 moons and 1 with 1 moon

 

Doesn't Cappy tell you how many are left?

FYI Zigbigwig and Clucky once you complete the game there is a way of getting it to show you where most (if not all - I'm slightly unsure on this) of the outstanding moons are located on the map, and these include how many if there are more thatn one in a room.

 

Are you talking about the parrot, toad and the magic cubes?

I think after consulting all those you still end up with at least 1 moon per map that the game doesnt give any clues for
