Okay, so when I first saw how well people were receiving this album, I listened to it and could have sworn I was stuck in the middle of some pop-punk PSYOP. It sounded like over-polished pop punk that I've grown to just skim over.

After a few listens though, this is an awesome record. I think my favorite track right now is Clear Skin, Sound Mind. Not sure if that opening riff is a direct pull on Such Gold's Stand Tall as inspiration - it's soo good. Also that chorus is such an ear worm.

 

Also not to mention that one vocal melody in the bridge of Hot Dog that is definitely the melody from Green Day’s Good Riddance.

 

My first few listens to the record I thought he was singing "I FUCKING LOVE A HOT DOG" instead of "I LOVE YOU LIKE A HOT DOG"

Immediately snatched up the red/yellow/blue splatter. Love it when my pressings coordinate with the album art.

 

Anyone know what color variant they had on the Hot Mulligan tour?

 

I recently ordered another copy because I couldn't believe it wasn't sold out yet and I was tired of waiting for my first order to ship with the Gates preorder that got delayed, haha.

 

Finally got to see these dudes on Sat. night opening for Free Throw and it lived up to my high expectations! Just wish the sound in the venue was a little better but it was a small enough show I was front row so it evens out I suppose...

Also they played a new song and it was sick so hopefully something new is in the works!

 

There are some real gems on this bands first two releases.

Oh man, new music would be great. I need to listen to this album a lot more often than I do.

 

They had their "RIP SUP" show in December so hopefully new music sooner than later!

 

Wow can't believe this album is three years back already
