Loved this band's last album. New songs are great.

 

Very much hyped.

 

Fantastic record! Almost has a more shoegaze influence to it. I feel like this could fill a peripheral vision hole for some people.

 

That’s the vibe the singles give too. Feels like a similar feeling to the latest Valleyheart album

They've always reminded me of a poppier B&C which makes sense. Jeff's old band Captives dropped this EP like 10 years ago too which is worth a listen if you dig grungy 2011 emo:

I don’t know how I feel overall about this album. I only have 2 listens so far. There are moments where I think it’s boring and there are moments where I think it just hasn’t sunken in yet. The first year after Moving Mountains S/T came out I thought it was boring but it crept up to become my favorite album of all time. This album has similar vibes. I don’t think it’s going to be close to my favorite of all time but I feel like I’m missing something.

 

I was into the singles but on listening to the album I feel like the same song just keeps playing. Gonna need some more time with it. Right now it seems to lack the hooks of the last album and it's far more mid tempo throughout.

 

Keep playing it, the songs begin to separate more and they’re wonderful

 

I agree so far a lot of this sounds samey. The last 2 tracks though I love. I'll keep spinning it though, I'm sure it will get better with more listens.
