Awesome article. Did anyone manage to get a copy of the 'Loser Edition' of How It Feels To Be Something On? Looks like it sold out pretty fast (this week).
I did, but I missed the delivery and it's at the post office :( I think it lasted until release at least. the Vinyl Me, Please version is very pretty too though
This was my first time listening to his solo stuff and I'm blown away. I had honestly never really delved into Sunny Day Real Estate much at all really, but this album is just fantastic.
I’m probably very much in the minority, but I like the Rising Tide way better than Diary. Stylistically more up my alley I think.
What does everyone feel about The Fire Theft? Listening to their self-tilted for the first time rn and I'm really enjoying it so far.
Absolutely love TFT. [But then again I love everything Jeremy's ever done] Would kill for a vinyl press & another album from them
Ohai. HIFTBSO is one of the my favorite albums of all time. It is a perfect record imo. I've been seeing it getting a lot of love lately in different parts of this forum and that has made me very happy.
Ah yeah man, I always get the feeling it wasn't always viewed in such a great light, but for me, as someone who got into them so long after they were "around", its so perfect. Evokes such a unique feel and set of emotions.
I didn't know there was a thread for them but echoing the love for How It Feels, their best album. LP2 is close second though
guess SRC is doing this Sunny Day Real Estate - The Rising Tide 2XLP Vinyl EDIT: never mind, guess it's concord records? was just the first time I've seen it here it is via Amazon, guess it's out friday https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077H6WBJW/?tag=absolutepunk-20
