Song About an Angel like fucking what? The woo-hoo melody change. Haven't seen them live, so wasn't aware that was the norm (based on some quick YouTube searches).

 

Live album is great. Jeremy's voice has aged so well.

 

Yeah this is very dope. Love hearing the guitars.

 

This rerecording is an awesome companion to the original album. The only moment that didn't completely work for me was Jeremy's falsetto on Sometimes, but it's such a minor thing. Songs like Blanket Becomes the Stairs sounds absolutely huge on this!

 

Posting to this thread because it's kinda rare and cool to see a SDRE cover live like this.

 

I just saw them super last minute last night in Boston for the Diary anniversary tour and they were incredible live, sooo tight and really fun vibes from the band overall - I was surprised tbh, expected a certain amount of "former glory days are over old man" vibes and it was the total opposite, really glad I decided to go. Highly recommend seeing them on this tour if you get the chance!!
