    Whatever. Forever.

I wouldn't mind seeing this, but Peoria is far away.

My exact thought. Last year it was at Ravinia during the week which is almost as bad.

it'll probably be around 6 songs, sadly. saw them on the summerland tour last year and they played 7 songs, including a cover.

    Things have changed.

You have to understand this is purely a nostalgia tour. Sugar Ray is just playing their hits, not sure about Everclear.

Looks like I will be see these bands after all! Did they add more dates? The Naperville date is a full two weeks after the last show listed in the OP.

I'd love to see Collective Soul on this tour in the future. I'm kinda surprised they never participated yet.

Surprised this is skipping the NW with a 5 day gap between Idaho and California dates. I think this would draw well here due to Portland being Everclear's hometown. Definitely would hit this up if it came closer.

  19. i wish their sets were longer... oh well

A Houston date on 8/22 got added at the end of the tour as well as a few shows in September.

9/03 - Sterling Heights, MI @ Freedom Hill Ampitheatre
9/04 - Naperville, IL @ Naperville Last Fling
9/05 - Du Quoin, IL @ Du Quoin County Fair
9/06 - Nashville, TN @ The Basement East

A friend of mine went to this with her husband last week and ended up leaving early because she was made highly uncomfortable. She said Art from Everclear kept making jokes between songs about the whole audience being white and how safe the show probably was because of that and she (being black) left 3 songs into their set. That's pretty damn lame if he's been saying that kind of crap at every show.

He should have plenty to say at the Naperville show then...

Currently not in the area but I've been to Last Fling before when Smash Mouth played and the adults in the crowd were so mean.

    She haunts the roads

Huh, that's surprising. I was at the Beverly Hills show, and the only reference to race of any kind I can recall was "white boy in a black neighborhood" line from "Dear Father."

I can attest that the show I was at was also the stiffest, whitest show I've ever been to, and as someone who started going to shows in WA, that's saying something. It was kinda funny how all the acts kept exploring their attendees to actually move.
