  2. I'll be there 7/9. Every year I swear I'll never deal with the parking again, but then they get Illuminati Hotties, Bob Mould, Sister Hazel, Guster, and Death Cab with minimal schedule conflicts and I can't say no.

I think I'm for sure going on 7/9 too.

I probably won't follow through on this part, but I'm also considering going up 7/7 and staying with my cousin for a couple days. It would be cool to see Corinne Bailey Rae, catch a little of John Fogerty and then go see Portugal. The Man. And then on 7/8 try to get there in time for Jojo and then Charli XCX.

I'm also thinking I may commit to 7/2 as well. Catch Lit, go see Village People for the fun of it, and then choose between TBS or Mt. Joy (depending on who would be there with me). I'd also love to see Halsey but I could see her for like half the price the next night.

Went to Summerfest once about 3-4 years ago, ended up not being able to see anything in one of the stages because everyone were standing on their seats and blocking the view. Went home angry and never came back. Since then I have been waiting for a band that will be worth trying to get over the trauma for me.

How much are tickets usually? I know the amphitheater shows are separate, but I've always wondered how this works.

    Things have changed.

$25 a day and you can see everything but the big amphitheater shows

  7. And if they amphitheater isn't selling well, they'll occasionally just hand out free tickets to that during the day.

Growing up in WI Summerfest had always been a staple of my summer. I moved at the beginning of 2020 and had full intentions of traveling back every year to attend. However, this three weekend setup makes it much more impractical than the traditional one. I understood them switching it up last year due to Covid but thought for sure they’d switch back this year. That obviously wasn’t the case.

having said all that, I’ll be there this year. Bieber on the 24th, TBS (will be my 20th time seeing them) on the 2nd, and Rod Stewart on the 7th are my current headlines.

  10. My date is even better now - Mike Mains and the Branches playing right before Guster.

Can we talk about how stupid it is that Taking Back Sunday and Third Eye Blind play at the same time at Summerfest despite being coheadliners on their tour?
