It's almost summer! Let's talk about songs that are best listened to with the windows down and sung at the top of your lungs.

I'll start:

Definitely hoping for recommendations. Especially recent songs.

 

I was listening to "Feel No Ways" by Drake the other day when the sun was shining, it was perfect

 

I think i iscovered each one of these songs while at the beach, so they're always on heavy rotation when summer's around the corner.

 

Cherub is so great. Love those guys so much. I'll add this:

 

Mae - Summertime will always be my favorite song to listen to while cruising around with the windows down.

Summer always feels quite melancolic to me, so I love to spin the first Boys Like Girls record, What Separates Me from You from A Day to Remember, and some songs by The Maine, Jimmy Eat World, Bowling for Soup, ...

Last year I had Leave No Trace by CHVRCHES, Pageant Material by Kacey Musgraves and Traveller by Chris Stapleton on repeat.

 

No specific songs, but during the summer I always pull out bands like All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, and Yellowcard. Maybe I'll try to put some songs together later.

 

This new Alicia Keys song shot to the top of my list. Really nice, subtle vocals with Latin/dancehall vibes.

She's on SNL tonight, hoping for another single as good as this.

 

"Never Meant" by American Football is my ultimate summer song

 

This girl deserves to be more well known. My favorite newer artist in indie/alternative

 

This one brings me back to summer of 2002 when it came out. I was in 9th grade lol
