Besides SBM, most of their other albums have had a three or so month roll out. Holiday period may extend that though I guess, maybe January.
January would be cool. Getting new blink, TBS, Alkaline Trio and Sum in basically three months would be crazy
Also said this in the article: "When I wrote 'Landmines', I had no intention of writing an old-school 'pop punk' song. It just came out really quickly and I knew right away that this song felt special to me." SUM 41 Announces New Single 'Landmines'
First impression - sound exactly like a MGK song. I guess that's reversed though, since MGK is inspired by every 2000's pop punk band.
It’s the vocal affect in the verses that gives me major MGK. Otherwise it sounds like them! Don’t love the “millennial whoop” at the end of the chorus but the backing vocals in the chorus make up for it.
I’ve always liked poppier Sum 41 better than heavy/darker Sum 41. This song helps my narrative, I like it a lot.
Really?I feel complete opposite. he had such strong and deeper voice through AKNF,DTLI and Chuck and it started regressing since that.Obviously, the health issues and aging are big part of it. It’s just not the same.Still,I love the dude and the band no matter what.
I think this song could sound better (the intro especially sounds bad to me), but the song itself is nice
