Losing track of how many times I've seen a band play their "final show" and then come back a few years later.

 

Final show in Paris. They’re supposed to be doing a full “worldwide” farewell tour next year

 

that's what I'm assuming but the "final show" under their name seems weird and misleading.

 

Yeah it’s definitely misleading, but I’ve heard from people close to that camp the plans for a full tour haven’t changed, so should be lots of dates coming to coincide with the supposed double album they have finished

 

I was under the assumption there would be a tour next year, and that paris was just going to be the final show overall.

 

My dudes, the Paris show is next year. Over a year from now. That is meant to be THE final show.

 

I find it incredibly hard to believe they’re doing their final show in Paris and not Toronto
