I fucking love this idea, I really think they're gonna pull it off. They haven't really tackled pure pop punk since Underclass Hero which is my second favorite album by them so I'm really curious what their take on it in 2022 sounds like. The metal shit just needs to sound like Order in Decline and I'll be happy, but Chuck influence would be even better
Yeah I'm really excited about this concept as well. It makes me feel like we're going to get an expanded version of Does This Look Infected which, out of all their albums, always felt like the one that blended their pop-punk and metal sides the most.
complete speculation, but I am guessing this is a double album in the sense of it being two halves, but probably not longer than a regular hour-ish album. Especially with fast punk songs.
Yep most of their albums have 35-40 mins runtimes so I can see this one being close to the 1 hour mark or slightly passing it.
Hmmmm this kind of makes sense. I hope you’re wrong though cause that would feel a little underwhelming IMO
That article definitely made it sound like a proper double album. I don’t think Deryck would refer to it as a double album if he meant one 50/50 album
UH is 47 minutes, SBM is 48, everything else is 41 or under. Probably two 35 minute albums. Sounds good to me.
It wouldn’t have to be two hours - most albums are 30-40 minutes right? I’m down with an hour long record from this band :)
Apparently the post originally said "january" instead of "recently" and then it got edited right away? They throwing us off?
