I don't mind Underclass Hero, but not only it feels like a side step following Chuck, but it also gets way too close to sounding like Blink-182 and Green Day at times for me to not feel weird listening to it as a Sum 41 release.
Chuck is without a doubt my favourite from these guys. The first two are up there as well with a lot of nostalgia attached to them.
They really don’t but if I should pick the weakest then definitely Order In Decline. It really felt like 13 Voices B-sides album, while 13 Voices itself was phenomenal comeback.
Look if y’all want a rank then y’all will get a rank: SBM > Chuck > DTLI? > 13 Voices > AKNF > Order in Decline > Underclass Hero > HHOP Edit: totally forgot we did this only a few pages back lol
Holy shit I can’t stand SBM. Are the folks who love that record just more into their metal/alt sound?
I always find different peoples thoughts & opinions very interesting. I always love seeing how they differ from mine. The subjectivity of art is one of my favorite things about it.
13 Voices just never clicked with me at all outside of Fake Your Own Death and Goddamn I'm Dead Again. I was actually really worried that I had fallen away from their music after not really liking the comeback but then I actually loved Order in Decline
I agree with this quote. I won’t say you’re wrong if you rank 13 or SBM high, only that I disagree. Chuck/AKNF DTLI/HHOP OID UH 13V SBM
I mean I don't think they have a bad album, or that they fell off like crazy or anything. I actually like SBM more than most. It's just that those are like perfect albums lol
