I didn't get into 13 Voices as much as I hoped but it they follow it up with a similar sounding record, I won't be disappointed. I just don't want to hear another "War" or "Death To Pop".
Surprised in a way that they didn't do the breakdown but I don't think Deryck can really do screams any more so that makes sense.
Yeah that would be cool, but i think deryck is 100% invested in sum 41 right now. They have some nice momentum going.
13 Voices showed up on my recommended albums for Apple Music. It's not bad! Anyone still jamming this record?
The are one of the artists that I jam every few months. This album still holds up. Your first time hearing it?
Besides a Warped Tour I think, they haven't been to STL since getting back together and releasing 13 Voices. I really, really want to see them again! I hear its a blast.
If things stay as they are as of now, get ready for next year! Just listened to it in full not too long ago!
their live show is incredible. Deryck is such a good frontman. when I was in middle school and a freshman I was obsessed with Sum 41, they were the first band that was "mine" so to speak, and I wanted to be Deryck so bad. from his style to how he acted and everything in between. so seeing him so happy and still doing his thing and still killing it after what he's been through makes me so freaking happy. they are one of the few bands that I still make it a priority to see when they come to Chicago. I just wish they would stop with the extended Queen covers and fit in another original or two. the one song I really want to hear live that I haven't yet is Makes No Difference. hopefully next year!
I didn't even realize they haven't been playing it lately! Usually it's a staple. Also, 100% on the cover; I'm over it after 6 years.
my 6 song sum ep would be metal: 1. pain for pleasure 2. machine gun 3. mr. amsterdam 4. ww I/II 5. the bitter end 6. moron
