I can accept No Reason winning the bracket although it wouldn't have been one of my first choices. This was fun though. Thanks for running it!

 

I feel like this played out how I thought it might, only real surprise was Fat Lip not winning All Killer, even though it came back anyway haha.

 

Now that this is over, I wanted to ask this while discussing Chuck but wanted to save it for after the bracket:

If you could create one 6 song EP to introduce someone to Sum 41 for the first time, what would your EP be?

 

I'd go with something like this (with one song off each album):

Fat Lip
Over My Head (Better Off Dead)
No Reason (I might've picked something different from Chuck, but this did just win the bracket, so I have to give it some respect)
Walking Disaster/Speak Of The Devil (either one represents UH pretty well)
A Dark Road Out of Hell (this is one song in my head, not three, so I'm using it)
Goddamn I'm Dead Again


I feel like that's pretty good representation of all their styles over the years and it's pretty singles heavy, so someone might recognize a few of them.

 

I'd probably go:

1. No Reason
2. We’re All to Blame
3. No Brains
4. Walking Disaster
5. God Damn, I’m Dead Again
6. 88

I know there is a lot of Chuck on here (and zero from my second fav SBM ) but I feel like this would strike a good balance of the punk/metal/melodic sound they do so well. That epic 88 ending would make them come back for more

 

If I had 7 tracks I would have went Over My Head. such a good song.

A Dark Road out of Hell as one song would be epic lol.

 

I'd probably go with something similar to @danielm123 with one song from each album.

Obviously that's very singles heavy, but I personally think they made smart choices for singles and if it's this person's first time hearing them it's not like they're going to care whether something was a single or not. Pieces isn't my favorite song on Chuck, but I think it shows a bit of a different side of the band.

They really did, their singles are so good. I don't there there is a wrong answer to this question haha, soooo many great songs.

 

It would be a wrong answer to include Ma Poubelle!

After seeing all the Chevelle love on here, I was thinking about doing one for them after Underoath possibly

 

if it was possible to love you more, this would make it so.
