I’m ending this a bit early because I need to take my son to his 9 am doctor appointment! We also have the same number of participants as the last two rounds so it’s probably unlikely that we’d get any additional votes in the next hour. So I have a tie to break. While I like both songs, both of them are far from my favorite on the album. I just listened to each of these songs twice to make sure that I was making the correct decision and my tiebreaking vote goes to God Save Us All (Death To POP). Your 13 Voices final round: God Save Us All (Death To POP) vs. Fake My Own Death Begin!
Fake My Own Death Man, this bracket did not go how i wanted lol. At least I have one top song left to vote for. In all seriousness though, I really do love this album as a whole. Im excited to see where they go from here. Do they continue with this sound, or maybe mix in a little bit of style from Underclass Hero? I wouldn't mind either.
I honestly was very surprised that God Save Us All got past the first round (over Twisted By Design)!
Fake My Own Death is the album highlight for me. Goddamn I'm Dead Again is also great though. My two fave tracks on the album
It's great, but so hard to say. Unlike a lot of bands, they have always picked awesome songs for singles. My favorite single by them is probably either We're All to Blame or Screaming Bloody Murder.
Yeah I think We’re All to Blame is their best overall. It’s catchy, heavy and way different from anything they had released at that point.
This round has only been open for a few hours but I think it’s safe to crown Fake My Own Death the champion of this bracket and move on to the b-sides/bonus tracks bracket! Whenever you’re ready @broken22 :)
Don't know how I missed this last round, but, my vote would have went for God Save Us All (Death To POP)! (Not that it would have made a difference).
This band has some great B-Sides. Noots, Subject to Change, Moron. It's been a long while since I've heard those songs so I'm looking forward to revisiting them.
This is the list we’re going with (look familiar @BlackwingE ? :P) @broken22 and I have discussed it and we decided to leave out cover songs and songs where they are featured performers. This should be a fun round! - What We're All About [new long version, 2002] - Reign in Pain (Heavy Metal Jamboree) [DTLI, 2002] - WWVII Parts 1 & 2 [DTLI, 2002] - Noots [Chuck, 2004] - Moron [Chuck, 2004] - Subject to Change [Chuck, 2004] - No Apologies [UH, 2007] - This Is Goodbye [UH, 2007] - Take a Look at Yourself [UH, 2007] - Look at Me (Hidden track) [UH, 2007] - Always [Best of, 2008] - We're the Same [SBM, 2011] - Better Days [13 Voices, 2016] - Black Eyes [13 Voices, 2016]
