Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

6 new songs isn't really that many on a tour in support of the album.

It makes up almost a quarter of the set. I think they did it on purpose to avoid it being a "throwback" band. the set is long enough to do both and I'm cool with it.

Because no one complained at all when Taking Back Sunday did that. :)

There's a huge difference in playing an entire new album all the way through with a few old songs in the encore v. playing 6 songs from a new album sprinkled throughout the set.

Not to mention, they just did a ten year anniversary tour for Does This Look Infected? three years ago.

PTV played their new album in its entirety when they toured for it earlier this year. A majority of people weren't happy with it if I remember correctly

And how dare those people express their displeasure!

I think if they removed the 6 new songs they would still be playing for about an hour. Adding the 6 in doesn't take away from the older material. If they were only playing the new album it would be a different story, especially since most of the appeal for me is nostalgia.

As a casual fan who's going to this, I couldn't be happier with the setlist. The only song I would want them to add is Count Your Last Blessings, just because I remember it from when that album came out. Not surprise they're playing a good number of new songs. It's their first album in a while and it seems like they're trying to do a proper comeback, and I've enjoyed the new songs so far. (Although playing 6 before the album is actually out is kind of a lot, but I still have a couple weeks.)

When the band is playing over 20 songs, 6 new songs is definitely no complaint for me. Sum 41 does a really good job of including material from every album, I'm a huge fan of that set list.

Out of the 6 new songs, they played the ones I'd want. Still wished more SBM and Chuck were there, but if I'd seen that show I wouldn't have any real complaints. A Drum solo leading into No Reason I imagine was really cool.

24 songs is very strong. Most of the new songs they added were good, so thats okay. I think I am still on the fence about going though because I definitely feel like they will change things up.

Still pretty good. Would have loved Lifeboats to stay on the shortened list.

Seems strange that their set goes from heavy to soft every song. I think it'd be nice to have them group together Lady in the Blue Dress, Family, Calling all Cars and then Wolves, Renacer, Shark Attack closer together.

I was at the show and i thought it was great. The hilarious part was the little signs at the barricade that said "At the bands request please no crowd surfing." They worked REALLY well. Now i have to brave the hurricane to see them tomorrow because the band/venue is dead set on not cancelling it.

I'll always be a bit upset that Can't Be Saved and Calling All Cars are basically obligated to be in every Senses Fail setlist due to their popularity. They aren't bad songs at all, but they have so many better tracks they could play instead.

I really like Calling All Cars personally but I agree on Can't be Saved. That and 187 should always be left off lol. That being said, I'd take leaving Calling all cars off for anything off of Renacer. Why is The Path not a staple?

Ever since SF started it seems like their set has always been heavy on LIEY tracks but I like how recently it's been narrowed down to Lady/Buried/Rum/Bite. I wouldn't mind it just being dropped to Lady/Bite with more from Waiting Room and forward.

I'm always surprised that the sets don't have more Renacer on them. That album was their best work since Still Searching

Senses Fail cut Family Tradition for Lifeboats last night. They also opened with You're Cute When You Scream.

Sum 41 was fantastic. Probably one of the loudest shows I have ever been to. Glad I bit the bullet and made the long drive to Atlanta.

Oh no! I guess they thought the Waiting Room/Fire tracks didn't go over well live. They have always been a band to go off of which works best for the crowds, which isn't necessary a bad way to go but it limits the amount of non LIEY/SS songs played.

People reacted well to Lifeboats but I definitely wanted to hear FT. Buddy did his vintage rant midway through, and it was funny to hear him talk about how Calling All Cars was the number 1 song in India in 2005.
