They have done that for some shows that I have been to as well but I don't believe the floor and pit were separate. It was simply either balcony or floor.
They did that to me the second night ADTR played at House of Blues. I got escorted right upstairs. I told security I was going to look at merch and never went back upstairs.
So weird. This makes me not want to buy a Simple Plan ticket if only balcony is left, haha. But I'm sure there would be a way downstairs.
HOB Dallas, anyone can go anywhere in the venue (GA or balcony), but you might have your ticket checked in the balcony if someone else has the seats. GA tickets are always cheaper and you have to go in through the GA area to even get to the stairs for the balcony.
I noticed it this morning. All yellowcard tickets were ga but beartooth had a seperate price for ga floor.
i'm already planning to see senses fail 10/1 in san antonio... if i use a sick day on monday, i could make the drive from houston for the atlanta show.
got the "introduction to destruction" vip package for minneapolis. was super tempted to go for the "reason to believe" package, but im seeing good charlotte in november as well.
I've waited FOUR LONG YEARS for the Sums to return back in my life, so it's without hesitation I'll be at the Toronto show VIP style with the Reason to Believe package. Let me know if you're going!
killing it! Such a Stacked lineup, have fun. They were awesome at warped, first time I've seen them ever, and now I could potentially see them with one of my fav bands in SF.
Oh, that I will, my friend! And you should definitely go! I haven't really explored SF much or As It Is, but I will be changing that soon.
I haven't listened to as it is but I'm a long time sf fan and I think you're in for quite the treat if you really dig through their music. Idk what kind of music you like but if you like lyrics, I think you're going to love them. The personal transformation the singer goes through between the beginning of the band to the most recent album is incredible.
I agree I have never seen them enforce this. Maybe they are changing if they are actually switching the prices, but I hope not. I got tickets to Balcony 1 for this show, I'll be pretty bummed if I can't be a part of the crowd, but GA was gone by the time I was able to get tickets. (I actually thought they were completely sold out at one point, so I'm just glad I was able to get tickets at all). Guess we'll have to wait and see about the rest.
Yea I should've clarified, that would be nothing new. But if they do do some sort of wristband system like someone mentioned, that would kind of kill that. I highly doubt it though.
