Not into As It Is at all, but Sum 41/Senses Fail sounds like a great show...too bad it's not coming anywhere near me.
I read that as 'All' instead of 'AII' (Can you see the difference) and thought 'Descendants'. Ill pass on this one. I liked Sum 41 on Warped, but I walked away sweaty from the pit, and Im too old for that. :) And HOB for Boston. OK. I guess so.
it’s our first tour in 4 years across America + it’s our first tour in 12 years with Dave Brownsound back in the band. - deryck
Love this lineup and will be at the Portland show, but I wish this was at a bigger venue. The Hawthorne will definitely sell out and it's going to be a cramped, sweaty mess. Would have preferred this to be at the Wonder or Roseland.
How quickly do you think it'll sell out? I'm trying to decide if I should just buy a ticket right when they go on sale or wait until I get some money back. But I really worry it's going to be one of the first dates to sell out soon after it goes on sale.
If anyone comes across the Ticketmaster/Live Nation pre-sale code for Wednesday, could you please post it here? Thanks!
I think it'll sell out sometime in mid to late September, but it's tough to say. I'm not exactly sure how well Sum 41 will draw on this tour given they haven't toured in so long and I'd argue they haven't been completely relevant since 2010ish. They haven't done a tour with a stacked lineup like this in a very long time though so this should sell well. Regardless this should easily sell out the Hawthorne at least a few weeks before the show.
Do kids today know who Sum 41 are? Really. I mean, the Warped Tour set was packed.... But to me Blink 182 was bigger than sum 41 - back 'then'....
Really hope I can go to this, but this is part of a really stacked week for me in October (TDWP, Citizen, this, CIWWAF and Brand New).

I thought there was supposed to be a Ticketmaster / Live Nation pre-sale today. The only ones I see are for the three VIP packages and the CITI Cardmember pre-sale.
Yep! House of Blues has never differentiated tickets for me at shows. I considered buying balcony to save a few dollars and just going into the pit, but I played it safe.
I noticed it when I bought tickets for Parkway Drive last week. I thought tickets to all their shows were GA.
Yeah the GA PIT tickets were $5 more than the regular GA tickets. I have never seen this before at the HOB.
They separate it at my local HOB. Thy take people up to the balcony through a side door and there's no access to the floor from up there, while pit goes in the main entrance. Don't know if thy can do that at yours, but that's how the one in Boston works.
They have not done this at the House of Blues Chicago in the past. In fact, I just had balcony tickets there for The 1975 on July 29, and they let me walk right onto the general admission floor. No one was required to go to the balcony. Maybe that is changing now.
